[Vira-Lorr was seated in her shop, reclining in her chair and looking at the table, her omni set up on the other side. She had a frown on her face, her eyes narrowed. The third eye glittered a little, seeming to almost glow softly in the low light of the room. The candles that were set out flickered and gave the fortune teller's chamber a soft, almost eerie glow.
On the table in front of her were a set of three tarot cards. She steepled her fingers, looking them over before sighing and turning her gaze to the feed, shrugging.]
Well, I never said my visions were always pleasant. Just a thought for my fellow sleepers, as you get ready for the next month. The locals call February a bitter month, and the story of Doorway is not exactly a happy one, trapped and forever waiting for someone who may never return.
Next month, you may be plagued by the possibilities, the imaginings and wishes that you might have in your hearts. Unsure, you might just find yourself at a crossroads, an important decision to be made. And if you choose one way, you may find yourself... what is the saying? "Crying over spilled milk" while you do not see the cups there, full on the shelf and waiting. But a choice always has at least two possible outcomes, yes?
[She reached over and drew another card. She smirked softly.]
Perhaps you might find what it is you want. The season of the Egg Moon is supposed to be a time of Rites, after all. Follow your hearts and choose wisely.
[And with that vague smirk, she flicked the camera feed off.]

[She held up the five of cups and squinted at it before showing it to him. The image of the hooded figure staring at three spilled cups but ignoring two full ones nearby was prominent.]
I think someone has already picked up how these cards work. You might be right. You could be too paranoid. I know I risk that from time to time. And if we're talking about relationships it's definitely possible.

The cards are not of my people or world. I picked them up in the nightmare. They're one that is known in this world, so ... it's a useful tool, though it's really my eye that sees a vision, and these are just my medium to understand it.

I see. I have seen those who use tea leaves, and one woman who was able to divine things from the shape of clouds. But none quite as stunning as a third eye for such visions. Though there was one man who I knew used it as a focal point for some rather advanced firebending. It was only a tattoo and not nearly captivating however.

[Apparently that tattoo and firebending had some history. Someone a long time ago had been rather nervous of hers at first.]
I do like to think it's quite enchanting, but the gift is not unique to me. All of my people have it, to varying degrees. I haven't tried tea leaves yet, though. A bit too subjective for my tastes.

[He had yet to have the privilege of running into either of the younger benders since his arrival. Though they would find the times to be very different between them.]
Even if it is a skill that many have, I am sure there is something that makes it uniquely yours. But I much prefer the tea for the drink that it makes than the leaves and fortune that it may leave.

Easy to become obsessed with tea spilled, mmm?

Have there been many to take heart to your words?
