[Vira-Lorr was seated in her shop, reclining in her chair and looking at the table, her omni set up on the other side. She had a frown on her face, her eyes narrowed. The third eye glittered a little, seeming to almost glow softly in the low light of the room. The candles that were set out flickered and gave the fortune teller's chamber a soft, almost eerie glow.
On the table in front of her were a set of three tarot cards. She steepled her fingers, looking them over before sighing and turning her gaze to the feed, shrugging.]
Well, I never said my visions were always pleasant. Just a thought for my fellow sleepers, as you get ready for the next month. The locals call February a bitter month, and the story of Doorway is not exactly a happy one, trapped and forever waiting for someone who may never return.
Next month, you may be plagued by the possibilities, the imaginings and wishes that you might have in your hearts. Unsure, you might just find yourself at a crossroads, an important decision to be made. And if you choose one way, you may find yourself... what is the saying? "Crying over spilled milk" while you do not see the cups there, full on the shelf and waiting. But a choice always has at least two possible outcomes, yes?
[She reached over and drew another card. She smirked softly.]
Perhaps you might find what it is you want. The season of the Egg Moon is supposed to be a time of Rites, after all. Follow your hearts and choose wisely.
[And with that vague smirk, she flicked the camera feed off.]

[Kind of.]
When you say desires do you mean screwing or?

It's not quite so ... direct? I was performing the reading to see if I could get an insight into what might come soon. In the past, things that happen here have affected people of all stripes.
So, if it meant relationships? It might mean sex. It might mean very close friendship. It might mean family. The answer probably would depend on the person. In your case? Since you brought it up? Perhaps it is about sex.

[ There's a softness around the edges of Ange's tone as she says it though. Sure, it's a little deadpan, but nothing about the way she says it is biting.
After all, she's fond of Vira-Lorr, and she knows the other is trying to help out the population here in her own way. It's just hard to not poke a little bit of fun at it like this.
If not just to keep things light. ]
This month wasn't so bad, relatively speaking. [ A little more serious now. ] It makes sense that the next wouldn't be so easy.

[She winked at her friend and smirked. No harm in a little fun.]
And yes... it really shouldn't surprise I fear. Not to mention, I get the feeling that the Doorway has a bit of an absolute view on romance. It might make her experiences a bit harsh for some.

[ Ange repeats the words, the amusement from a moment ago now fully fading from the voice.
Instead she sounds surprised, mostly. ]
What exactly is that supposed to mean? [ Within this context, anyway. Ange may be dating, but she won't claim to be a romance expert in any way. ]

[ He's reading a lot about himself into this, which is, supposedly the point. ]
But why do you think it's bitter? It sounds like it might just be joyful!

Perhaps the lesson is to live a life without regret?

But yes. A bit. Take this card...
[She held up the five of cups, the figure staring down sadly at three spilled cup while ignoring two to the side.]
If you think of the cups as being something the heart wants, the figure stares down at the three they have lost, crying over spilled milk, while they do not seem to see the two that they still have.
The pictures tell stories, in their own ways.

[She smiled and rested her chin on her knuckles, grinning mildly over at him, concealing a bit of the awkwardness there. If he didn't seem too familiar, she was all too happy to let the past fade slowly into memory. It was kind of a nice fresh start in its way.]
And I suppose it might. Just vague enough that you can see some of what you want in it?
no subject
Yeah... Pretty much. You uh... [He rubbed the back of his head.] Sorry, but... I'm bad with names, and the weeks where I was kind of someone else are a little blurry.
I know we met... at a bar?
[Why he'd been in a bar, even as his Galra self, he didn't know...]

To think that Eudaimonikos person thought you didn't ramble.
[ Chances are he butchered that pronunciation with his totally not Japanese phonetics, but the idiot never got Michael's actual name. ]
no subject
[Nope, she was totally aware of it.]
Some paths need a little meandering to get to the right place. Dangerous to cut too many corners, especially in matters of the heart.
[She didn't say 'how is that friend of yours,' but the twinkle of mirth in her eyes said it loud and clear.]
no subject
But that doesn't matter, because he hears that call out, and he gives her a LOOK. ]
Being straight forward isn't cutting corners, it's just cutting the flowery padding and unnecessary metaphors.

[Video][UN:A_Wesker013]
[The camera shows him perched on a high stone wall, gathering roses into a wicker basket, though he's sitting thoughtfully for the moment.]
I'd wanted to consult you for a reading, though finding the time to do so has been tricky to arrange. Perhaps its better this way.
[He peers into the camera thoughtfully.]
I'm probably stating the most basic and obvious reading of The Lovers, but sometimes the most obvious thing is the most elusive. After the memory I'd seen last month, I've barely been able to get the mother of my son out of my head. Also, I have started to feel toward family life, perhaps even forming a family of my own. I'd rather not try that alone, which leads back to thinking of my lost love. Perhaps it's time I opened myself up to that search.
Re: [Video][UN:A_Wesker013]
If you'd like to come in for one? We can do a private one just for you. Perhaps in return, you and I can speak about what, if anything, you managed to learn about the change in my blood?
Re: [Video][UN:A_Wesker013]
I could come by your shop and residence: I was collecting a few of the white roses to put out for the Moon Presence.
[A concerned pause, then he continues.] That sounds like a fair and even trade, but now you have me a bit perturbed.
