[ The plain young man with freckles is frowning sheepishly, shoulders raised. Today he's freshly showered and wearing one of his usual boring shirts. ]
Um... First-time renter, here... Something happened, and now some furniture the owner lent to me is damaged from... slime. A lot of it. It's gross.
[ Midoriya looks much the same, healthy even. Someone who has recently seen him might notice more freckles on his skin, like he got some spring sun. His hair needs a trim again, even though he just got one last month.
He moves out of view to reveal a plain wooden bedframe. On it is a lost cause, a mattress that looks like it's been slimed on a 90's game show. Bits of the Sleeper Membrane are already drying into peels. In it are... dozens of tiny eyelids? ]
I'll have to replace it, but... Do you think I'll get kicked out?

You're probably going to keep finding slime or sticky parts months from now. Just at the very moment when you think you're finally rid of it, it'll strike when you least expect it.
[ It's not even like she's really teasing him - since Ange doesn't know you can actually get rid of this stuff more easily than that.
She just thinks it's just regular slime. ]
That's how these things always go. It's like glitter. It never truly leaves.

[ Then again, who could fault him when Ange makes jokes and serious statements with the exact same facial expression and tone.. Absolutely no one can tell the difference.
Case in point: right now. ]
I mean, I haven't seen slime like that before, but it does look like it's kind of setting into everything already. Maybe you should ask the person letting you stay there if they have some tips about how to get that stuff out, because the people here probably know more about it than we do. [ Hey, at least that's a helpful tip!

They're a normal human from this world. I have a feeling this is a Sleeper thing.
[ Mini eldritch squids can be slimy, maybe. It's slime all around. Then he switches the video to private. ]
I also experienced some kind of... I don't know if it's magic or what. [ hence why he's telling her, a known magic user, even while he frowns and falters on how to explain this. ] I... remember being at home. I lived my life before I came here as if I had never left. Then I woke up in that... slime stuff. I checked the date. I went to sleep yesterday, lived at home for three months, and woke up today.

Ange is momentarily pretty surprised to suddenly see the feed being private, but when he speaks.. well, she kind of gets why. He must still be baffled enough by the experience to not want to share it with just anyone.
(Though that does surprise her a little in and of itself - the fact that he is still willing to share it with her, then.) ]
Well, if that and the slime happened to you at the same time, then it can't be a coincidence. [ That much is easy to determine, in Ange's opinion. ] Maybe your mind somehow managed to travel back home, even though your body stayed here. It's entirely possible that you were living life through the eyes of an alternate version of you in your sleep.
[ Mind you, Ange is still sounding entirely calm as she says this. She's seen so much stuff in her life that this isn't weird to her at all. ]

[ He's kind of repeating himself, turning the concept over. He's thankful she's calm, because he is not. Being taken from home a second time made his grief resurface. It's why he didn't face the world until after he had showered and attempted to process what happened. The memories of home are happy ones. Shining, really. He misses everyone. He hid that and successfully distracted himself by freaking out about the physical damages. Slime waits for no one.
Ange's thoughtful analysis, on the fly, helps ground him too. ]
My body... It's different too. It's like it was back home. Is? I spent some time training outside during class, so I got a little more sun. And I'm stronger. It was March back home. Now it's February.

[ Not that Ange would know much about that, not exactly being the type to physically train.. But she figures that if he is the type who does train, then he might be able to tell the difference. ]
Because if you can't notice the difference that way, it is possible that you might be imagining being stronger, because these memories are now fresh in your head. [ Not that she would be surprised if there was some sort of odd dream state in this place that could alter your body. It's nothing Trench hasn't seemed capable of before.
But she figures that they might as well make sure to be cautious about this, before assuming any of these big claims to be true. They have to be thorough.
Hence why Ange speaks so calmly - almost as if she's approaching it from a near-scientific point of view. ]

[ He can't be too sure, because he doesn't build muscle for looks, and muscle size isn't an indicator of strength anyway, but he suspects he might have gained a little more there too. ]

[ Maybe it's not the most helpful response, but it's the first one that slips across Ange's lips in the middle of all of this. Because that's just what it is. Weird. ]
I guess that means the main question here now is how it is possible for your body to change that drastically, despite the fact that you were just sleeping. And not even for a super long time. [ Certainly not for as long as he thought he was home for. ]

Yeah, I don't think it's that. [ Especially since his Quirk had nothing to do with that kind of thing, right? Ange doubts that would change so suddenly, or drastically..
It must be something that's just part of how things work in this world, even if she can't quite wrap her mind around it just yet. ]
