[ The video turns on showing Shouto looking a little worse for wear. Ice creeps up his neck on his right side, and there's dark circles around his eyes. When he speaks, his breath chills the air around him turning a misty white. ]

Has anyone seen Midoriya Izuku? He has green hair, green eyes. He's [ he lifts his hand around his chin ] this tall. 

He's been missing since the monster - Kaiju - attack. I haven't seen him or been able to get in contact with him since they took down the Kaiju.

Does anyone know where he is? Even the last time you saw him could be useful information. 

Please let me know.

The last I saw of him was during the fight.

He didn't look like he was doing too well honestly but he was alive.

I don't whether he's alive or dead. Sorry I can't be of anymore help.

[ It's more than he's gotten in the last 24 hours! ]

Was he injured? Was he fighting with anyone? Maybe I can talk to them. See if they saw something more.

I'll ask my animal friends to help look for him.

[ Shouto doesn't recognize her, but he knows few of Midoriya's friends here. A thought to mull over at a later date. ]

I'm not sure. I tried calling him but he doesn't answer. I've left messages but they haven't been read yet.

[ Which means he's worried enough to go public with his concern. Knowing Midoriya, he's either injured or possibly kidnapped or - he actually hasn't thought about this one, which he really should have considering his canon point - avoiding him. ]

He could be with someone else. I just don't know.

Animal friends?

[ He doesn't even question her ability considering one of his classmates, Koda, has a similar quirk - anivoice; which allows the user to communicate with and command animals through speech. It's a very useful quirk and he'd be grateful for its use in searching for his friend. ]

Can you ask them when they last saw him? Maybe we can track him down that way.

What about sending your omen to find his? His phoenix! Why not find them? Or oh! I can have my birds or Faramund, my own Omen look for his. If Izuku is anywhere, his Omen will be nearby.

I personally haven't seen him before the ah- that monster. But I can ask the animals where the beach happened.

I... hadn't thought of that.

[ Much like his master, his omen isn't all that sociable. Kizu usually stayed out of sight and did as he pleased. He's never asked him for anything, never needed to before today. ]

How do I... ask him? Will he know what Midoriya's omen looks like?

[ Shouto hasn't seen his omen before and vice versa. No one has really. ]

Well, that's alright, you're worried about your friend! I'm worried about my friend, too. Izuku has a phoenix for an omen, I've been able to tell Faramund to just go and find someone and he can if their omen is out. I don't know if that's because of their magic but he's always found someone else through their Omen when I've asked it of him.

You just need to ask your Omen to find Izuku's Omen. I'll ask Faramund, too.

[ Wasn't that a mythical creature? Shouto wasn't aware they could have omens like that. ]

Faramund? Is that your omen?

[ He hasn't had a reason to dabble on this topic but seeing as it's his best right now, he feels the need to ask. ]

Do I need to know his omen's name to find Midoriya?

That's right! Oh, they're lovely! Both his phoenix and Izuku saved me.

And yes, one moment. Faramund~ [She called out and a giant stag that stood several heads taller than Snow White even without his horns came into the camera's view.] This is Faramund.

And I don't think so, though, perhaps you and I can exchange names so I can know who to call if my friends do find him.

[ A giant stag comes into view, and Shouto finds himself staring. He's only seen a few omens since his time here, but none were that big. ]

Oh-Uh. Hello, Faramund.

[ Is he supposed to greet him? No idea! ]

My omen's name is Kizu. She's a little shy.

[ No, she's not. She's a lazy cat that does what she wants when she wants it and Shouto is to easily led astray by her. Her hasn't quite figured out that she's not shy at all just uninterested. Case in point, his omen doesn't show up on the screen when he calls for her. Please let him know his unruly snow leopard is turning her nose at his summons. ]

While that name isn't familiar, that description sounds an awful lot like a Deku-kun I met at the base camp. Could they be the same person?

[He was a good kid, but he'd been very worried about him out there on the field. That he's missing...]

[ That's a surprise. Sure, there was that entire slime incident only a little while ago, but he hadn't been gone back then, had he..? ]

It doesn't really sound good that he went missing exactly during that.

[ the fact that he wasn't there drives up the guilt ten-fold. worried. he has no idea what might have happened to him aside from the pieces of information he's been gathering. ]

Yes, Deku is his hero name. Have you seen him?

[ He's really not surprised Midoriya made so many friends here, he was always good with people. ]

[ hence, this post. He was comatose for a good while and woke up only recently after the Kaiju attack. He has no idea what happened or where his friend is. the fact that he hasn't answered his messages makes him worry about his well-being. ]

I don't know if he's missing... I just know I haven't been able to get in contact with him and he's not answering my messages.

[ I mean... he could be avoiding him, but Shouto is so dense and Midoriya so kind, that that hasn't even crossed his mind. ]

It may be he's somewhere safe but unable to respond. I don't know.

[ And that's the worst thing about it. He doesn't know anything. ]

[A Hero name. That makes some sense when he thinks about the conversation they had on the training ground. "Heroes" as a concept had been interesting to him. It looks like he wore that name similar to how he wears Kamen Rider.]

I haven't seen him since the battle. He was alive but he wasn't in the best of shape. If you'd like, I'll happily backtrack my steps for you. If he's missing, then we shouldn't waste time trying to locate him.

[ But at least now, he knows he was alive in the aftermath. It does a lot to ease his nerves. Now he just has to track him down. ]

I wasn't there for the attack, but the last time I talked to him, he'd woken up from a stint in a cocoon. He mentioned he was going to look through the Archives.

[Which isn't much, but it's somewhere to start, at least.]

I can take a look there, see if they saw him.

We were fighting together briefly. He had burst into the maw of that thing and retrieved the body of a friend who was killed.

He didn't seem to be doing well and his actions became more erratic- I lost of track of him and don't know where he ended up after that.

You might want to talk to anyone who made it through the fight. Maybe Flynn Schifo, or Oscar Pine. I don't know if they saw him after that either.

[ Not that Ange would claim to be the person who knows that kid the best in this place, but.. just from what she's seen from Midoriya, she's pretty sure that he wouldn't just suddenly ignore someone on purpose.

Especially someone who's most likely a good friend of his, considering that Todoroki is out here asking about him in the first place. ]

Did you already look for him at the place he was staying at? [ .. unless he did get kicked out for burning his mattress. ]

[ Stunned silence follows her words. It's only through years of training that he manages to pull himself from the stupor and squeeze out the words stuck in his throat. ]
