[ The video turns on showing Shouto looking a little worse for wear. Ice creeps up his neck on his right side, and there's dark circles around his eyes. When he speaks, his breath chills the air around him turning a misty white. ]

Has anyone seen Midoriya Izuku? He has green hair, green eyes. He's [ he lifts his hand around his chin ] this tall. 

He's been missing since the monster - Kaiju - attack. I haven't seen him or been able to get in contact with him since they took down the Kaiju.

Does anyone know where he is? Even the last time you saw him could be useful information. 

Please let me know.

The last I saw of him was during the fight.

He didn't look like he was doing too well honestly but he was alive.

I don't whether he's alive or dead. Sorry I can't be of anymore help.

[ It's more than he's gotten in the last 24 hours! ]

Was he injured? Was he fighting with anyone? Maybe I can talk to them. See if they saw something more.

We were fighting together briefly. He had burst into the maw of that thing and retrieved the body of a friend who was killed.

He didn't seem to be doing well and his actions became more erratic- I lost of track of him and don't know where he ended up after that.

You might want to talk to anyone who made it through the fight. Maybe Flynn Schifo, or Oscar Pine. I don't know if they saw him after that either.

[ Shouto doesn't recognize her, but he knows few of Midoriya's friends here. A thought to mull over at a later date. ]

I'm not sure. I tried calling him but he doesn't answer. I've left messages but they haven't been read yet.

[ Which means he's worried enough to go public with his concern. Knowing Midoriya, he's either injured or possibly kidnapped or - he actually hasn't thought about this one, which he really should have considering his canon point - avoiding him. ]

He could be with someone else. I just don't know.

Animal friends?

[ He doesn't even question her ability considering one of his classmates, Koda, has a similar quirk - anivoice; which allows the user to communicate with and command animals through speech. It's a very useful quirk and he'd be grateful for its use in searching for his friend. ]

Can you ask them when they last saw him? Maybe we can track him down that way.

What about sending your omen to find his? His phoenix! Why not find them? Or oh! I can have my birds or Faramund, my own Omen look for his. If Izuku is anywhere, his Omen will be nearby.

I personally haven't seen him before the ah- that monster. But I can ask the animals where the beach happened.

I wasn't there for the attack, but the last time I talked to him, he'd woken up from a stint in a cocoon. He mentioned he was going to look through the Archives.

[Which isn't much, but it's somewhere to start, at least.]

I can take a look there, see if they saw him.

While that name isn't familiar, that description sounds an awful lot like a Deku-kun I met at the base camp. Could they be the same person?

[He was a good kid, but he'd been very worried about him out there on the field. That he's missing...]

Yes, Deku is his hero name. Have you seen him?

[ He's really not surprised Midoriya made so many friends here, he was always good with people. ]

[A Hero name. That makes some sense when he thinks about the conversation they had on the training ground. "Heroes" as a concept had been interesting to him. It looks like he wore that name similar to how he wears Kamen Rider.]

I haven't seen him since the battle. He was alive but he wasn't in the best of shape. If you'd like, I'll happily backtrack my steps for you. If he's missing, then we shouldn't waste time trying to locate him.

[ That's a surprise. Sure, there was that entire slime incident only a little while ago, but he hadn't been gone back then, had he..? ]

It doesn't really sound good that he went missing exactly during that.

[ hence, this post. He was comatose for a good while and woke up only recently after the Kaiju attack. He has no idea what happened or where his friend is. the fact that he hasn't answered his messages makes him worry about his well-being. ]

I don't know if he's missing... I just know I haven't been able to get in contact with him and he's not answering my messages.

[ I mean... he could be avoiding him, but Shouto is so dense and Midoriya so kind, that that hasn't even crossed his mind. ]

It may be he's somewhere safe but unable to respond. I don't know.

[ And that's the worst thing about it. He doesn't know anything. ]

I don't think he'd just ignore you.

[ Not that Ange would claim to be the person who knows that kid the best in this place, but.. just from what she's seen from Midoriya, she's pretty sure that he wouldn't just suddenly ignore someone on purpose.

Especially someone who's most likely a good friend of his, considering that Todoroki is out here asking about him in the first place. ]

Did you already look for him at the place he was staying at? [ .. unless he did get kicked out for burning his mattress. ]

[Ok, A, this poor kid doesn't look good, and he should be looked at. B, the BIG B, is that he mentioned Midoriya being in some kind of fight, and that he was missing].

Oh no! I didn't know anything about a fight! How did he look when you saw him!

I don't know. I didn't see him before the fight. [ His expression shifts, mouth pulling down as he remembers his stint in the cocoon. ] I woke up after it was over.

[ After the point he could have been of any use. ]

I'm fine. It's Midoriya that I'm worried about. [ Enough to search for him throughout the night. ]

[ Friends. The only other person here who's from his world. ]

[ It takes him a moment - counted, he's a little distracted - to recognize him. But when he does, he adds: ]

[ He was comatose, encased in a cocoon during the monster attack, so he's a little short on the details. He's been trying to piece together what happened between the time he fell victim to whatever he contracted and when he woke up. ]

I never met him but I will keep an eye out. Make sure you get some rest too.

[ Hmm... missing ]

[ He's running on fumes is all. Just need to find Midoriya and he can rest. Until then, he'll run himself ragged. ]

I will. Once I find him.

[ It helps that he recognizes him, and while he's no longer under the spell of the caramel sweet he ingested, he still feels indebted to him for the simple statement. Right now, he'll take anything he can. ]

I saw him when it was time to discuss possible strategies for approaching his landlord about what happened. Was he injured after the Kaiju attack? How badly?

[ Lanlord? He was having issues with his landlord? Better yet, he had a landlord? ]

What happened with his landlord?

[ After a week spent like one of those pod people encased inside a cocoon of his own making, he feels like he's missed so much. ]

That's what I'm trying to find out. I haven't been able to get in contact with him since the attack.

The last I saw him was the battle. We weren't close in position, and I died toward the end of it, but he seemed like he was in close contact with the beast. He might have been corrupted.

[ Died?! His senses go on full alert. How bad was it? He was encased inside a cocoon of his making through the attack, waking up only after the dust had settled and he's spent every waking moment since trying to piece together what happened. ]

Corrupted?! [ This is the first he's heard of this possiblility. ] How would he get corrupted?
