video; un: shouto

[ The video turns on showing Shouto looking a little worse for wear. Ice creeps up his neck on his right side, and there's dark circles around his eyes. When he speaks, his breath chills the air around him turning a misty white. ]

Has anyone seen Midoriya Izuku? He has green hair, green eyes. He's [ he lifts his hand around his chin ] this tall. 

He's been missing since the monster - Kaiju - attack. I haven't seen him or been able to get in contact with him since they took down the Kaiju.

Does anyone know where he is? Even the last time you saw him could be useful information. 

Please let me know.

[ He'd probably think you're a witch at that point and start looking for your black cat. ]

I don't know. I haven't tried contacting them.

[ Wait a minute! You can't just drop that bombshell and bolt! ]

Corrupted?! [ He's immediately on high alert, his eyes widening by a fraction. ] Who's corrupted?

[Wrong about the cat (though only because Luz isn't cliche) but certainly right about her being a witch. Mostly].

It might be good to check in on them all. Maybe they might have seen what direction he was last headed off too.

Me. I was. Didn't I make that clear?

[No, you didn't Luz].

[ Okay. Okay. Give him a second to get all that straight in his head. ]

You? [ Wasn't that bad? ] Are you okay?

[ Now he's even more worried about his missing friend. ]

At the time? No, it was pretty bad. Right now though? I'm fine. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be eager to go and find Midoriya-kun.

What happened to me was awful. I don't want that happening to him too. He's stressed out enough as it is!

[swellter]

What... happened to you exactly?

[imaglyphwitch]

It's hazy, but, basically? I found myself overwhelmed with feelings that were largely self-sabotaging and I didn't talk about them enough that they finally just overwhelmed me, and I turned into a blood sucking monster. Luckily, I'd made a pact with the people in my house, so they were able to find me and slowly talk me down.

But I don't know if Midoriya-kun's made that kind of pact with anyone, and he's already felt frustrated about not being able to save everyone. I want to make sure he hasn't gotten worse!

[swellter]

[ ... blood-sucking monster? ] Like a vampire?

[ Excuse him while he tries to figure out what exactly is going on here. ]

What kind of pact?

[ That's not something he's heard about before. Was it something people in Trench did? Did Midoriya have one? ]

He's always been that way, but I haven't seen it manifest here. [ Had he missed it? ]

Um. Well. More like a certain monster in my world that most people think is fictional. I looked more like a mutated dog.

[And she was sure she was being kind there].

This month was the month of Doorway, the Pthumerian who's all about loyalty and bonds. We were actually able to make bonds with others, be they platonic, family, lovers or enemies, and they all have different effects. In my case, my bond is with my live in family, so I can feel impressions of them if they're in trouble or in distress.

[She had no idea if Midoriya had made one, and had imagined he was too busy fighting off whatever had happened recently, with that Leviathan monster thing].

I've seen him depressed, and because I have pale blood, I saw a strange manifestation hovering over him. I didn't ask him about it at the time, because I was pretty sure only I could see it.
