Hey, all - I see there's some new faces. I'm Shiro, longtime resident here.

[He's seated on a sofa - well, seated is probably the wrong word. He's propped up by a lot of soft things, thanks to being a Warmblood this month.]

If you have any questions, I'm happy to answer - usually I'm on the Waker team, but ah, didn't get a chance this time around.

[Because of feeling like speaking, like moving, is too much effort.]

Anyway, I had a question. I'm pretty good in a fight, usually prefer hand-to-hand. [He is. Hilarious.] Weapons are a little more rusty, and this thing...

[He turns the omni to face a sword propped against the couch.] ... showed up at our house yesterday. And I could use a few pointers in swinging it.

Offering... [He exhales, and slowly puts his face in his hands. He's been behind on the network, apparently.] Right. Thanks. I'll track them down.

[Since clearly this is what they need right now. An assassin.]

It's a hard thing to grasp. It took me a while to adjust to it, too. But don't worry, there's a lot of people who've been here long enough to try and explain.

[He blinks - clearly not expecting the question. And then shakes his head.]

I'm not injured, no. Think I'm just sore.

[that sounds reasonable. sansa's brothers were often sore after training with swords. they always went to the hot pools, but she is afraid to think what a hot pool here might be like. possibly full of blood.]

A warm bath might help. I won't trouble you any longer. Everyone here has been so kind.

[she's sure she'll figure it out. nothing could be more treacherous than king's landing.]

[He means it, too. Someone's concern is appreciated. Especially when they've just met you.]

I've always lived in large households, where everyone has a role. And my role was never in the kitchens. These machines are very new to me, and I've spent some time studying them at the inn, but if you know anything of cooking on the oven machine, or if you know of somebody who might be willing to teach me, I would very much like to hear of it.

[Shiro is already a pale guy, after space and everything else. But when she mentions kitchen and oven, he may have paled a little more.]

I'm really sorry - I'm honestly banned from using any and all kitchen machines. I have set water on fire. [Pasta noodles. He set pasta noodles on fire.] But I can recommend Mako, if you've met him?

Sorry. Cooking is... it's not something I've ever been good at.

But if it helps, you can usually find Mako at the Raccoon Room. It's a big club his husband runs.
