Hey, all - I see there's some new faces. I'm Shiro, longtime resident here.

[He's seated on a sofa - well, seated is probably the wrong word. He's propped up by a lot of soft things, thanks to being a Warmblood this month.]

If you have any questions, I'm happy to answer - usually I'm on the Waker team, but ah, didn't get a chance this time around.

[Because of feeling like speaking, like moving, is too much effort.]

Anyway, I had a question. I'm pretty good in a fight, usually prefer hand-to-hand. [He is. Hilarious.] Weapons are a little more rusty, and this thing...

[He turns the omni to face a sword propped against the couch.] ... showed up at our house yesterday. And I could use a few pointers in swinging it.

I absolutely know what Mandalorian means, don't worry.

Wood and metal would be best, I think. My younger brother is a good hand with those kinds of blades too. I wouldn't say no to any kind of help.

[Wait, have there been Mandalorians, here, or in Deerington? Or it that just general cultural osmosis? Certainly, Obi-wan or (sigh) Maul mentioning Mandalore at some point makes sense to him.]

...you haven't happened to meet someone named Sabine Wren, have you?

... No, I haven't, I'm sorry. She must not have arrived here.

If she was in the dream, I don't think I ever ran into her.

I can keep an eye out for her, though, if you like. I help out with the Wakers fairly often.

[Every day he isn't at the orphanage, actually.]

Keith. He's here - but I don't know how many people he's met yet. He can be a little... non-social.

I help with the Wakers too, but more pairs of eyes is good. Thanks.

[He's met Keith; he just doesn't know that he's met Keith.]

Well, if he wants a sword friend, I can be low key company and take the hint to go away when he's done with being social.

[He smiles wistfully.] Sabine could be like that too.

[He huffs out something that's probably meant to be a tired laugh.]

I really don't see him saying no to a sword buddy.

That's right. Mandalorian, an artist, and great with explosives. Took a while for me to grow on her.

Oh yeah? Not friendship at first sight?

Weeeell. I kinda wanted to be her, at first sight. A crush of sorts.

She was sixteen and too cool for everything. I was a very annoying fourteen year old street rat.
