Hey, all - I see there's some new faces. I'm Shiro, longtime resident here.
[He's seated on a sofa - well, seated is probably the wrong word. He's propped up by a lot of soft things, thanks to being a Warmblood this month.]
If you have any questions, I'm happy to answer - usually I'm on the Waker team, but ah, didn't get a chance this time around.
[Because of feeling like speaking, like moving, is too much effort.]
Anyway, I had a question. I'm pretty good in a fight, usually prefer hand-to-hand. [He is. Hilarious.] Weapons are a little more rusty, and this thing...
[He turns the omni to face a sword propped against the couch.] ... showed up at our house yesterday. And I could use a few pointers in swinging it.

It's the kind of sigh that makes it sound like her very soul is leaving her body along with the sigh. ]
I guess I'll have to live with that. [ It'd be pretty crappy if she couldn't at least call her relationship with Ruby romantic, after all.. ]
As long as you don't call me or anything about me and Ruby romantic in front of other people. I won't survive that.

When have I tried to purposefully embarrass you?
[Other people, sure. Like his teammates. Or the kids they've picked up. But that's different. He knows that's okay. Ange's not comfortable with it, so ... it won't happen.]

[ .. mostly. Maybe he might make a tiny tease, but Shiro is definitely on the safer side of the embarrassment spectrum Ange's friends fall on. ]
But that doesn't mean other people won't embarrass me upon hearing that kind of stuff. [ It's a dangerous world out there, Shiro!! Please!! ]

My husband - [Did he just blush a little? He totally did. And the only reason he brings it up at all is the handprint showing on his face. The mental link between them these days. Hard to hide anything.] - will know.
But he won't care.
