[It's not entirely obvious when Snow White starts up the video, just how much pain she is in. She's still smiling but it's a bit more subdued. She's even paler (somehow) than she usually is. She also has a bandage on her neck. Her animal friends around her are deeply concerned, watching her carefully and Faramund, her giant stag is staying pressed against her side as if supporting her to stay upright.]
Why hello everyone!
My goodness, wasn't that jungle such an interesting place! I've never seen some of the animals there before! They were so nice, though. [Snow had struggled in the jungle not because of the animals but because of the pain she's currently in just for existing. But her pain tolerance, despite her appearance, is ridiculously high.]
Oh, but! That isn't why I'm speaking with you all.
I'm sure we've all noticed those terribly large blood boils coming up all over the place. And while the bloodhounds are doing a marvelous job getting rid of them, well there is just SO many of them the poor things can't get to all of them. Not that they don't try, of course. [Snow being Snow is yes, slowly befriending them.]
So, I'm going to tell you how I get blood out of clothing! And walls, and floors, and furniture, and windows, and really anything else! Especially since the blood splatters don't smell very nice. [That's one way of putting it.]
Thankfully, getting blood off the walls and floor are the easiest to clean with a good strong brush and bucket of scented soap! But I do know the rest can be very tricky.
So if you would like any help, please let me know. Blood in on fabriced furniture can be especially tricky.

And you're always welcome over, Faith! You're my friend!

God, she really is kind of a loser, huh.]
Monsters that look like people and drink blood. In Trench they're vilebloods who've gone corrupted, so it's a bit more complicated, but they're still dangerous.
But yeah, sweet, I'll be right over.
[She comes off so aloof and cool.]
To Action?
[Which is absolutely why she didn't make such a connection.]
I shall see you soon, Faith! My animal friends will let you in.
->action
She arrives shortly, hands buried in the pockets of her longcoat. There's a weird looking axe-scythe strapped to her back because well, she's a vampire slayer. Of course there is.
She will follow wherever the animals lead her.]
Action;
He leads Faith to the living room by a hearth. Snow is sitting on the couch with her back to the entranceway, she is surrounded by rabbits who are cuddling her, trying to keep things as soft and gentle as possible. From the angel she is sitting at, her neck is very easy to see. The bandage on her neck is getting slightly red, she's going to have to change it soon.
The bear chuffs again and Snow looks up from the book her birds are holding, wincing as she turns her head but she smiles and brightens up.]
Faith! I'm so glad to see you! Hello! I'm so sorry I can't get up to greet you.

When she steps inside, she sees the state that Snow is in, and winces a little in empathy. God, poor girl. She decides she's going to kill whichever fucker did this. She sniffs the air around, looking for the scent of a vampire. Or rather, vileblood. But no, there's no fight here...]
Absolutely no need to apologize for that, kid. It's... nice to see you too. God, this place really is a nightmare sometimes huh. [Faith approaches, giving a nod to the animals to let them know she's a friend. She still half expects them to turn on her.]
Looks like you'll need to change the bandage soon, and I should probably get a look at the wound. Check if it's a vampire bite. You need me to do it?
no subject
Oh, will I? [She reached up for it and tried to turn her head, both were mistakes. She was in pain the moment she did it and inhaled sharply.]
I, yes, alright. Doing it this morning was rather hard to begin with. Your knowledge about all of this would be lovely. I don't think any of my animal friends ever heard of a vampire before you mentioned it. I'll go get the bandages.
no subject
It's sad. And Faith thinks that if anyone were to say that about her living entirely self sufficiently at age 14 with a deadbeat mother and a deadbeat father, she'd snap at them to piss off. She'd lash out until they couldn't pity her anymore because they were too busy loathing her.
The comparison's a bit uncomfortable.]
Yeah... I can imagine. Hey, if anything like this happens again, just send your omen my way and I'll come help you out. [She's doing her very best to make that not come out as pitying. She kneels down beside her and takes a closer look at the bandage.] Yeah... that's definitely a vampire bite. I'm gonna take the bandage off now, okay?
no subject
[She tilted her head to give Faith more room.]
Alright, Faith, don't worry about hurting me. [Mostly because everything hurt anyways.]
Do... will... you don't think the vampire will come back, do you?
no subject
Yeah, I hope it doesn't happen again either. [She starts easing off the bandage as she talks, taking a moment to glance at the wound. Faith is not a doctor, the medical or scientific or even arcane aspects of her job weren't supposed to be hers to handle. That's what the Watchers are supposed to do. But she can recognise the telltale signs of a vampire's fangs.] They're around in Trench, but most of 'em don't go bursting into people's houses for a midnight snack. Probably someone pretty heavily corrupted, I'm guessing...
[She starts to redo it, and even though Snow said that she's still going to be careful.]
But this one? Nah. He won't. I'll make damn sure of it.
no subject
I suppose I'm grateful that none of my animals were hurt!
Thank you for going to find him and speak to him, Faith.
no subject
She's absolutely going to speak to him, just probably with an axe. But Snow doesn't need to be informed of this. Faith continues dressing the wound, and since she knows this'll be the painful part, she tightens it enough that it'll do it's job. She does it quickly though, so as not to extend it. Snow said not worry about hurting her but... Well, apparently Faith is a softie.]
Don't worry about it. Like you said, you're my friend. I'd be a pretty bad friend if I didn't help you out when you needed it. [That's what the bunny girl said, right? That everyone needs a little help sometimes?]
no subject
[She gestures to the wound, regretting the action but doing it anyway.] We'll have to walk there, yes? The Blood Ministry? I don't think they make house calls.
[Even in pain, she reached up and rested a hand atop Faith's, smiling up at her.]
I'm glad you're my friend, Faith. You're a wonderful friend. [Every word was genuine.]
no subject
[She blinks at the earnest words of... it's not even praise, it's just affection. Her expression softens into a smile.]
Hey, don't sweat it, it's five by five. [That's just what she says, she doesn't even know what it means. She's not sure what to follow it up with but it feels inadequate.] ...I'm glad you're my friend too. You've got a real good heart.
no subject
Five by five? Oh! That's more slang, yes? Fern has been teaching me some! [She smiled brightly and warmly, so incredibly happy that Faith agreed they were friends.] Thank you, Faith.
I try to be as kind as I can. The world could use more kindness.
no subject
[Real gotcha moment. She returns the smile, because god, this kid's mood is infectious. And maybe, deep down in her rotten little soul, she's kind of a sap, and recognizes someone who's lonely too.]
You're doing a good job then. The world could probably use a whole lot more of you too, y'know?
no subject
Thank you, knowing more, not less of me is wanted does feel quite lovely. I want more of you in the world as well, Faith. I hope you know that.
