[At first, the post opens with video. Lance is using his omen for this because he's probably too intoxicated to operate the omni. Corruption has started to increase again and rapidly given what he's trying to announce. The scar over his left eye looks a bit bigger and his iris of that eye is a glowing, crackling electric blue. He's not looking at the 'camera', his expression trained hard on the table in front of him as he grapples with the pain of loss.]

So… Hunk's gone… [In real time, the scar over his eye grows length-wise and cracks open horizontally and the darkness of space seems to be underneath: black void with stars and a nebula. The glowing light of his eye flashes brighter and seems to overtake the rest of his eye.] …baaaack to th' sea.

[His speech is a bit slurred and his hand comes up to his forehead as he leans to brace his elbow on the table. He looks at his omen and his brow furrows.] Valor, this's audio, right?

[What sounds like an 'oops' comes from his omen and then the video cuts out. There's the sound of a heavy, rattled breath being let out from Lance before he continues.] Whatever, not like it matters, [snort] as if I'm even gonna remember, right?

…Oh yeah… anyone in town got some memory findin' powers? I'm missin' some, so I need you to like… reach into my head hole or whatever.

[A breath is heaved, but it sounds shallow and wet, like there's something wrong with his lungs. Then the sound of a glass clinking on something.] Anyway, here's to th' ocean! I'm gon' go yell at her to give me my bro back. Later.

[There's the sound of a scraping chair as he gets up, and then the loud thump and crash of someone immediately fumbling their footing because they're too messed up and falling to the floor.] Oww…

[Eventually, maybe this world will give him a damn break. He hasn't really had one since the end of October. Maybe lulls here and there, but Sasuke has had the unfortunate luck of meeting him when he's been in a constant state of suck-age. This response doesn't come until a good several minutes later when he realizes the pings on his omni are replies to a post he made.]

Oh hey, that's riiiigh', you got your eye thing. I mean… that really sucked an' I dun wanna think about it… BUT, you did a memory thing, can you find missing memories? [SNERK] Aha, yeah she could do that, I guess.

[Drown him. He is completely unconcerned and okay with this, even seems to find it a little funny ing a hollow and broke sort of way.]

It's possible. I've heard of it being done back home, but I've only ever attempted to gain access to memories that are already present in the mind. Sakura might know more than me, I could ask for her assistance in coming up with ideas.

[ He's at least glad his drowning humor landed in some weird way. That's......... okay, probably not a good sign, but he'll take what he can get here. ]

Though perhaps we should discuss it when you're more ... sober.

Oh I'm sure they're in there… I was jus… reeeeally messed up or corrupted. Or both. I'unno.

[He snort-laughs at that last part.]

Bold of you t'assume I'm ever sober.

Mm. I said "more" for a reason. Though you should consider taking better care of your body, I doubt the drinking helps the corruption.

[ That's not the point. Focus on the memories. ]

If they're still in there, then I know I can use my Sharingan to find them. I've done it plenty of times.

[At least for this moment. Taking care of his body isn't really high on his list of priorities at the moment.]

[ He shrugs before he remembers he can't see it. Woops. ]

I don't know. In my world, it would be a possibility. I can't say with certainty if it's the same here without looking at your memories.

[You can practically hear him squinting suspiciously.]

... In my experience, they usually end up becoming the ones who snap pictures eventually anyway. They were just pretending to have standards to feel better about themselves.

[How did they end up here? He doesn't know, he's too drunk and too unstable to figure it out. And that's both mentally and molecularly. He lets out a burst of a ball of light from his hands at the sand where it meets the water as he walks like an annoyed toddler.]

[He coughs wetly and then blows a loud raspberry.]

[He is crossing his arms. Thinking. Then most ironically:]

Whyyy would you wanna help me with a problem I don't have?

[retsuden]

…I did? [One second, he's just gonna go back and look at his post. The playback makes him wince, but he's still mostly in that same frame of mind so whatever.] Oh…

Seeeems like I do… need help.

[retsuden]

Mm. Yes.

I can't make promises it will work, but I'll do what I can to try.

[Lance heaves a breath.]

Yeah, thanks…
