A quick question.

I see we're dealing with some sort of unending night scenario. The pirates and the squid thing are easy enough, but I've got to know:

Is this a Vampire kind of darkness or a Werewolf kind of darkness? I can figure the rest out accordingly if someone has an answer.

Also the convenience stores here suck. The tea is weak, I can't find a decent sandwich, and all of the rival shops are out of a proper cleaner to get the salt stains off my glasses.

Anyone feel like sharing any tips?

[ That might be a bit of overkill, but Chizuru can't help it! Writing is hard, and she's pretty sure that her tone and intentions don't come across as well over text, hence why she's fussing so much. She doesn't want him to take it badly! ]

but hurting people is still bad is it not

[ It's not even that she's arguing his point, it's just that Chizuru assumes this is the baseline everyone operates by. And that the people who do hurt others just neglect it. Hence why she's a little confused. ]

Hurting people is always bad. But, there's a difference between doing so with malice or doing so because you simply can't understand for whatever reason.

[Writing was hard-- but Waver had no other explanation. Birds didn't make pests of themselves on the street because of misguided mischief, nor did the oceans rise to flood cities because of an unsatisfied grudge.]

A tornado can be terrible, but you can't blame the tornado for it's actions. That's all I am saying.

[ .. Chizuru kind of thinks the Pthumerians would have to be really dumb, if they somehow can't understand the pain they're bringing to people.

But that thought feels much, much too rude, so she quickly pushes it down. Maybe it's just something she can't understand in turn, as eternally compassionate as she is. ]

people already suffer enough and i do not want to see even more people in pain when they do not have to be

everyone is doing their best so they deserve better things than that
