We are now squids, I try to understand that. That's our true form.
But when we get out of the ocean, we transform into something else. Humans, trolls [ he met one, yes ] elves, vampire, and maybe even something else. It's the form we remember once being, I think? I wasn't properly explained that part.

But my question is: can we change that form? If I don't want to be a vampire or a werewolf, can I just be human?

Is there blood magic or powers to make me human?
I used to be human, so I could become human again, right?

I need help.

I recommend, first of all, not to identify by the physical form you currently possess. Our spirits possess and live within squid bodies, yes, but we can alter that form to some extent. It is a form to house us, but the 'you' that is you is within it.

This said, I have had some success in altering my form, though I am assisted by my vileblooded abilities (And for now they have only been surface alterations). I still believe that alterations are possible, though they may be difficult.

Although you say for me not to identify myself with my physical form, the physical form is still there. [ This is not a spiritual issue, Kaneki cares little about souls and spirits and auras.

The body is what causes all the issues. And he can not get rid of it; he may have a human spirit/soul/essence/ethos, but he still has a very ghoul body. ]

Only vilebvloods are able to transform themselves? Can they transform others?

That it is, and if it's something that you don't feel comfortable about, I understand the wish to deal with that.

Vilebloods have powers that are physical in nature. They have to do with their body, with their blood, and similar functions. Different vilebloods have different powers. I can change the physical structure of my body, but not others. It may depend upon the person.

But, there might be some options if you can get a vile blood stone with enchanting an object to help, or finding the right person. There seems to be a lot of variation.

there's a person back in my world who practiced turning one creature into another, but something tells me it's not really the same thing as what you're talking about.

Probably not. But it'd have to work here, too.

I was born as human. Then I became something else. And now I am here, and instead of gaining the original human form I was born with, I only have that other second form. [ which is fairly human looking, he knows. But it's still not human. ]

Even if it's temporary, I wouldn't mind.

What's different about the form you have now?

There are ways that specific techniques can be used to alter people at a cellular level back where I'm from, though results were varied depending on the extent and the strength of the wielder. I imagine that blood magic could very well have a similar power to change you back to human if the right type attempted it, though I imagine it will have to be more deeply researched by someone like a Blood Minister.

I'm fairly certain they also study blood and the differences in blood types. Medical ninjas are also the ones who would know how to return someone to their old bodies where I'm from. Restoring or altering the base of a person's being would normally fall into the work of healers, I would think.

Well, in another world I knew a mage who could heal or even transform anyone. So I suppose it's possible, though likely requiring a lot of trade goods or services.

I'm sorry for being presumptuous, I should have know better.

I used to be able to become intangible. I can still do it, but it requires a lot of concentration and a lot of pain, up to a migraine with a bloody nose. It used to be effortless.
