[Well it had been a lot of hard work but she finally managed to get this thing working even in her arms were basically pinned to the wall, so people were not getting much of a view. Minako didn't even know if she had it on voice or video or what really? But hey she was going to speak and see what happens.]

Hey so... There has been a bit of a situation and I may need a tiny bit of help.

[Considering the only view people are going to see was a brief glace at Minako and the fact she was pinned with something and unable to move too much and when t turns whatever was in front of her.]

So Vira kinda... killed those... giant creatures and this happened.

[Okay maybe that was not the best way to explain her situation. But as she moves to try and get out Vira in her beast form may be seen.]

So I need help getting out and also to knock sense back into Vira and hopefully get her back to normal. She won't hurt me, so please don't worry about that. I think she'd most likely try and hurt people trying to get me, but still... Help is very much needed.

She was grateful to pull it close as the last of those disturbing snakings of the inside mouth became her tongue, natural and red. She drank the last of it and completely covered her body with the cloak, closing her eyes and breathing heavily.

"Luz... I... need to rest a moment. Please, check to make sure Minako's alright, would you? I think she is, but I don't have a lot of strength right now."

(OOC: That part can be handwaved easily enough since 3-person threads can be difficult to keep up for everyone. Feel free to jump forward a little if you like.)

"To rest? Ok. I'll go run a check on Minako and free her if she's in restraints, but I'm coming for you afterward, ok?"

With that, Luz immediately left to find Minako and make sure she knew she could be free and move around again.

Once some time had past, Luz had turned back to find Vira Lorr. She was sure her friend was suffering a bit and would need some assistance, and then she'd have to fill her in.

"Vira?"

By the time that she returned, the robe was affixed rather than simply draped. The chord was tied, and she was hovering over a mostly emptied mason jar of pink fluid, her eyes hooded and her body shaking a little. There were no visible signs of corruption, no wounds or cracks, but she looked exhausted.

"I ... didn't hurt you, did I Luz? She's alright, right? Please tell me you're both ok..."

Luz was already at Vira's side, slowly stroking her back.

"We're both fine, Vira. It's you that we need to worry about. You look so tired and weakened, like I was when I was corrupted. Let me help you to get some rest. Once Minako's up to it, I'll leave you to her care. Just take things slow."

She relaxed a little into the touches and sighed, as if losing a lot of strength in her limbs. She was just collapsing a bit onto the couch, into a state of exhaustion, which she really needed to do at this point. "I'm... glad you were able to talk me down. I'm just glad for that. I'm weak now, but I think it will be ok. I'm going to avoid those butterflies until they're gone. It's not safe for me."

"No, of course not. You should totally stay away from those things."

She let go of Vira so she could sink into the couch.

"Trust me, been there! It's going to take a while to recover. But I'll try and clean up for you before I go, and then Minako can look in on you, ok?"

"Well, I shouldn't even try to be the one rescuing or pulling people away. It seems that it breeds a paranoia that's a festering ground for corruption." She shook her head and sighed softly. "Inside, I won't be going crazy. You don't need to clean up, you know. I appreciate it, but you've already done so much for us."

"Vira, you were probably doing that all the time in Deerington. You probably couldn't help falling back into that role, and maybe with this new blood, it found a way to get distorted. We just need to find a way around it."

Luz scoffed. "And I'll do more, so don't worry about it. If it bothers you, just say that I'm paying you back the favor you did for ME."

"Mmmm, oh that's almost exactly what it is. And this situation is just ... not good for me. If they re-appear down the road, we'll have to play things carefully." A shake of her head and she smiled. "Mmmm, but cleaning up for me is payback? Heh... yes, I think I'll allow that. That seems a fitting punishment. To make me sit here and watch you do what I think I should be doing instead."

Because that kind of weird backwards punishment did feel oddly appropriate, especially since nobody was dead.

"I understand. We can talk about what happened, and what you remember so we'll have a better plan to tackle it later. I'm just glad you didn't go full hog and attack me."

Which meant that there was a certain degree of monster one could and could not be.

Now Luz was just going to give you a stare. "Vira, this is because I want to help you. You've been through enough today, I'm not having you clean up after something you couldn't help! Just wrap yourself in a blanket and recover with your girlfriend, ok?"

"Something that is probably best remembered for the future is that, as long as there's someone I want to protect? I will do just that, so the cautious approach seems best." Though she shuddered to think what might happen if she didn't have a person to protect.

She smiled over at her friend mildly, or as mildly as she could manage and nodded. "I know... I know... old habits die hard, Luz. Thank you... for everything," she said as she bundled herself more tightly.

"I know what you mean. Actually, Reaper was like that too, when he was corrupted. Unfortunately, he was also pretty vicious when he doesn't have any moral scruples, so I'm hoping that doesn't happen in the future."

In other words, both of them could be pretty dangerous without something to protect.

"Trust me Vira, I understand. You don't have thank me. I love both of you guys."

Luz was already sweeping and humming to herself, because that had been a pretty jarring situation and she sure was glad it was over!

"If you took any of his scruples away, he's exceptionally deadly," she admitted readily. The very idea was horrifying actually, and talking him down extremely hard to do. "Even with someone to protect."

She smiled at her, the blanket curling tight as she finally started to relax. Things weren't good, but they were safe now, and that was what mattered.

"I don't doubt that! He seems like one of the scariest people if you ever wanted to test him. It's why I don't!"

Also it was because Luz was not one to try an adult usually, but still.

"Do you need some tea, Vira?"

She smiled oh so knowingly. there were a few stories from the old days she wasn't sharing today. He'd moved past those times, after all. She'd let him do the telling if he was going to. The mention of tea made her lips smack and she nodded once.

"Tea... would be nice. Salt water is usually not good for making you less thirsty."

Luz knew enough that if Reaper wanted her to know about his exploits, he'd just say so. He had not, and so Luz was fine not looking for more information where he might not want to have it out. Maybe one day.

"Sue, of course! What are you thirsty for?"

"Water would be fine, though if you don't mind making tea, there should be some simple chamomile in the cupboard that isn't ruined right now." She hadn't actually torn into that sort of thing, so it would serve well enough.

"Chamomile it is!" Luz agreed, though she would be a little sad if she couldn't find some honey there. "Think I should make some for Minako-chan too?"

"I think it wouldn't hurt. Something with a little honey would be nice for her. It might not be a bad idea for me too." Great minds think alike it seemed.

"You got it! A clean house, tea and a relaxing day for you, all right?"

Luz was already getting ready to get the let out!
