( Aqua decides to keep this short and sweet. It's obvious by now that she isn't returning home any time soon. However, when the time does come for her to leave as others have, she wants to be prepared for it. )

Good evening.

I was wondering if anyone here may have been looking for a sparring partner -- or, if anyone has one, if they wouldn't mind someone else to practice with. My strength is in my magic, if that's something that others want to consider.

Furthermore, I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about this world that hasn't been recorded in any of the books here. The more that we know, the better chance that we may be able to solve the mystery of how we can all return home.

... And, finally... I was wondering if there were any places in particular away from the town that others enjoy visiting. Any place that seems peaceful would be wonderful.

You know, I could actually use practice against magic.
I doubt your magic is the same as magic in my world, but it's just not my specialty.
I always have trouble with magic users in a fight, monster or person.

So, I'm up for it, and I know a place that's good for girls.
I'll admit it's kind of loud in the first floor, but more quiet on the second and third.

I'm not sure how much help I could be with magic I'm unfamiliar with, but I've learned that practicing is the best way to go about learning.
In a world that has different monsters, I'd be happy to be able to have the chance to help you learn how to defend yourself better.

... A place that's good for girls?
What exactly do you mean by that? What kind of place are you talking about, exactly?

Practice makes perfect when fighting against certain things.
Even if it's not the exact same, it will probably help at least a little bit on defense.
So, let's just say I'm down with this.

Sapphora. There's a club in Prufrock that only lets women come in, with rare exception.
It's mostly hunters like me, but we have plenty of guests wanting to blow off some steam.
Bottom floor's for the rough and tumble types. Pool, bar, darts, loud music.
Upper floors are quiet and you can get a booth with a friend for drinks.
Or just lounge in the third floor and take it easy with some art.

Uh, but I should be clear since it's come up?
It's the kind of place where girls who like girls and not guys tend to hang out too.
So, you might get hit on by a few of the girls there, respectfully of course.

[Look, she just liked Sapphora. It was real comfortable. Kind of ironic that she kept introducing all her lady friends to the place, given that she was very much emotionally and physically unavailable herself.]

I've only heard about how dangerous some of the monsters here can be.
In some instances, defense is going to be the best course of action.

... I see.

I can't say I've ever been to a place like that myself. But, it sounds like a place that would be lively for anyone who can visit it.

( It's not that something like that would make her uncomfortable, persay... It's that she herself wouldn't know how to react to something like that. )

I've been looking for an opportunity to learn more practical kinds of magic ever since my last source, er. Broke. The wonderkind portals were not kind to it. If nothing else, I'd like to observe while you practice.

If you know anything about swordfighting, I would also appreciate a pointer or two. My last teacher... left before I could learn anything beyond the basics, and with the tournament coming up, I'd rather not embarrass myself in front of everyone after I've already signed up for the armed division...

I'm not exactly someone experienced in teaching someone how to use magic - especially the kind that originated here, but I'd be happy to help in whatever way I can. However... what do you mean by broke?

( Were they injured? Or, was it something far more grave than that? )

I've never used a sword, but it may not be quite so different than the current weapon I've used. If it helps, I've found that one of your best weapon doesn't necessarily have to be a physical weapon either.

( She's taken on enemies without her keyblade. It may not have ended well for her the last time, but she knows that it's always better to have other ways to defend yourself should the situation call for it. )

The magic's focus was a large red crystal, it acted like a learning aid to help me cast and refine the red magic. You could think of it like a spellbook, I suppose.

...unfortunately, when the wonderkind portals opened, a monster from another world slithered through and, er.

Ate it.

Or, well, its magic. Then it ate the crystal itself because it thought it was tasty.

And unfortunately, my mentor returned to the sea not long after that, so I couldn't ask for help in replacing it or finding an alternative method. So I'm at something of a loss.

Though color me curious, what do you mean by "not necessarily a physical weapon?"

I am always available for people to spar with. Just don't bring any weapons that could actually be lethal, I have been known to get....carried away in combat.

[Maul, that is NOT reassuring! But he feels it's best to be honest with the person asking for help. He's a good fighter, it's just that Maul was trained that each fight was meant to end in death, and so he has to actively remind himself these days that's not the case.]

As for returning home, it seems the ocean is what brought us here and it is what will take us back. The real question of how and when it happens seems to have eluded people, for there is no rhyme or reason to who gets taken back.

( It's not just the username that has Aqua hesitant, but his words moreso. She can't help but be reminded of someone who gave her trouble frequently at home. )

Is that something you're proud of? Someone who trains to fight should do so to protect others.

( She became a Keyblade Master in order to protect the Realm of Light and those who live in it. Aqua would never forgive herself if she brought harm to someone who was innocent. )

I suppose that there's no pattern to those who are sent here, either. I've heard of another world that's almost similar to this one.

[Maul knows that text makes it impossible to really tell tone but he feels he's being judged here. So he decides to give a very blunt explanation.]

I was never given the luxury of having that option, so save any sanctimonious judgment you might want to pass on me. I was raised by a sociopathic monster to be his personal assassin. All he wanted was a weapon. No conscience, no compassion, no empathy. He broke me down over and over again until I had been molded into what he wanted. I am trying to be a better person these days but sometimes those killing instincts get the better of me. They run straight down to the bone.

[Hence why he'd decided not to participate in the Karate War that had been going on. He knew getting into the ring with someone might end with someone dead or permanently maimed if he lost control.]

Sometimes I think the Pthumerians summon those that will be most entertaining for them. There's quite a lot of colorful characters to be found among the Sleepers.

[ It's not the sparring that draws Ange to this post, hence why she just ignores that part. It's more what the person writing starts to go on after that. Even if Ange has absolutely zero interest in going home herself, still--

It's not like she minds sharing information. She always appreciates people wanting to look into things. Questioning things. ]

What sort of information are you specifically looking for? I don't think there's much information about how to return to other worlds from this place. It's not like you can just jump into the ocean and swim back.

Of course. If it were that easy, I'm sure the majority of those who wish to leave would.

But, I know that there have been people who have vanished here. Is there a pattern for who leave or any knowledge we have of where they go afterwards?

( She knows that it isn't the world she was in previously -- but... the state of this world as it is is concerning, to say the least. She isn't positive that any place they go to afterwards, if it isn't their home, is any better than this one. )

I haven't noticed a pattern so far.

If anything, it feels strange, the way people leave this place. It'd make sense if all the people who disappeared from this place like that wanted to go home, but I've seen people return to the ocean who had no reason to do so. Either people who wouldn't want to go home, or who just wouldn't want to leave behind their friends here so suddenly.

[ It's something she's thought of before, really. So there's no hesitation in sharing it now. It's better for more people to have more information in a place like this, after all. ]

So there doesn't seem to be much of any rhyme or reason to it, from what I can see.

But I feel like that might not be the most important thing here.

I'm not exactly an expert of this place. But I was in the dream for about two years before it collapsed and we ended up here. So I can help answer any questions you might have about there.
I'm not exactly looking to end up back in my own home, but if that's where you're looking to go I'd be happy to provide whatever help I can.

( When Aqua reads on, there's hesitance to reply. It's a lot to take in. She's traveled to plenty of different worlds at this point, but the more she hears about this one, the stranger and more unfamiliar it all is for her. )

A dream? ... Is that something that others were trapped inside, as well?

I'd like to go home, but... before I do so, I want to help others who want to leave, too.

I'm sorry that you don't want to go back. I think I can understand your reasons for it. But, if you were given the chance, would you leave this world for another one?

( The last world Aqua was in was a place she never wanted to return to. While it might not be her business why this stranger doesn't want to go home, that doesn't mean that she doesn't feel like she can't relate to some extent. )

What kind of sparring partner are you looking for? There are a few different martial arts dojos that opened lately.

I had no idea that there were so many people who also practiced fighting here.

Any sort of fighting style would be wonderful -- my best friends specialized in different areas than I do. We ended up helping each other grow stronger.

Yeah, there's a lot of warriors and fighters around. Which I guess is pretty lucky with everything that happens.

But if you just need someone to spar with, I know Karate and Judo and would be glad to have another sparring partner.

I am not familiar with it beyond books and conversations. I have heard that our blood magic can be used to help others, but I do not know how to try.
