[When the video turns on, Usagi looks... well, honestly downright haggard. But Usagi, when exhausted has a bad habit of masking and thus, acts even more bubbly and energetic than usual. And before you ask, no, she's not fine. But she will lie and say she is.

But don't mention the bags under her eyes, that's rude.]

HI EVERYONE!

[She's waving at the screen excitedly in some hopes to not let on the deep exhaustion she's badly hiding.]

My name is Usagi Tsukino! I uh... met some of you before when we first got here but couldn't really properly introduce myself! BUT I CAN TALK AGAIN! [And she's decided to make that everyone's problem.] Actually, I've been able to talk for AWHILE but ANYWAY! So hi!

Anywho! Do you know what I realized last night? I mean, probably a LOT of people have realized this actually but I doooon't think anyone has said it, or, at least I don't think so! Maybe I missed it! Sorry if someone already said something like this!

[She's rambling.]

Anyhow! I realized that while lots and lots and lots and lots of people may already know lots and lots and lots of other people cause ya know, so many of us came from Deerington, there are JUST as many people who have absolutely no clue who anyone else is or where we are or why we're here! I mean, I'm those last two too, but I lucked out on knowing some of you!

SO! So so so! I thought, hey! Why not introduce yourself and then we can all get to know one another and we can all help one another and it will be awesome and we can be all amazing together!

I'LL START!

My name is Usagi Tsukino! I'm originally from Tokyo, Japan! I love cats and rabbits, food, and video games and my favorite hobbies are sleeping and eating but oh oh oh! I like shopping, making all sorts of new friends, playing video games, reading manga and comics, aaaaaand well actually I can't think of anything else right now!

But I'm handling it. And... I'm... I AM trying to sleep, Vivi. It IS my favorite hobby next to eating so an attempt is made every night.

It doesn't matter if it's easy or not- it's still a promise.

I know it is, that's why I'm worried. I mean, I get it, obviously, but still. Just...take it easy, okay? Don't overexert yourself.

Introducing myself to people and encouraging others to do the same is not overexerting myself. Besides, we NEED to do this. We can't go around this place trying to do it all alone. And this time! We have an advantage! So many of us know one another! That wasn't the case the first time in Deerington, right? Like, I wasn't THERE but... I imagine NOBODY knew anyone unless they were from the same place.

...Yeah, okay, I guess that's a fair point. And there are a lot of people here who've never been to Deerington at all. They just...showed up. Which means it's possible more people who've never been to Deerington at all might show up, too?

Maybe... even people from home.

[He has been wondering something since he came across her with her broken memories when they arrived in this world. He didn't want to push it, or cause her any undue stress or pain. He wanted her to decide when to bring this up, and now it looks like she has. ]

...Like your daughter?

[She inhales sharply, letting it go slowly and nods.]

I don't know... that I would want her here. She's safer... she's safer where she is. Knowing everything that went on in Deerington and could happen here, I would not forgive myself if I could not protect her.

But... I can't lie and say I don't miss her.

I can understand that sentiment. It's...hard. Knowing you can't be with the people you love, but knowing they're a lot safer not being here.

[He's quiet for a moment, hesitating. He doesn't want to pry- she's kept this to herself for a reason, clearly, but now he knows and it's in his nature to wonder. Usagi's not that much older than he is, and while he's aware it's not impossible for someone their age to have a kid, it does still feel...surprising. ]

You...you've never talked about her before. I mean- that's not to be accusatory or anything. I just... wondered why? Did something happen?

The short answer is, it's complicated and involves time travel.

[She scratches her cheek.] But since I've brought it up...

Well, let's start with the fact that time travel IS possible where I'm from but it's... ultimately forbidden because of all the damage it can do past, present, or future.

It's protected by Sailor Pluto, who... I don't know if you met her but she was in Deerington. She's been guarding the Gates of Time for thousands and thousands of years. But anyway.

My daughter, well, she's FROM the future. Almost 900 years in my future, to be precise. I have her when I'm 22. She traveled into the past to get my help.

Though in hindsight, I don't think she realized I was her mother when she first came to me, she was just looking for Sailor Moon and my crystal.

Do... you remember that prince, the one who kidnapped me and my friends? Well, it's my future self he was obsessed over, and he was the reason Chibiusa even came to the past. His whole plan was to alter the past so that I never become queen and exile his ancestors.

Ah, time travel.

[He says that in a tired way that someone might say "ah, it rained yesterday". He's only heard of one instance of it back home and that was with magic but he's met plenty of people here who have experienced it too. ]

Wait. So you don't turn 22 for 900 years? That's- Usagi that's not how time works?

[Sorry, he's really trying. This doesn't fit well with his frustratingly logical brain. ]

Oh wow, okay that's... that's really complicated. So she came to the past to try and stop that from happening? Him altering the past?

What? [It takes her a minute.]

Oh. [This is why she hates explaining this.]

No. [She sighs.

May... as well put everything out there, she supposes. He's gotten all the other massive pieces.]

I... well...

I stop aging at 22... It's when I become full Lunarian and completely immortal, get married, have my daughter, and become queen of the Earth and Moon and grant all of humanity world peace and a thousand-year lifespan without sickness or disease. [Yeaaaah, she's forgotten to mention WHAT she becomes queen of in all of her "I become queen" stories. But HEY now maybe all her "I NEED TO BELIEVE THIS IS 100% MEANT TO HAPPEN TO ME" makes more sense now considering she's not just "leaving a few friends behind."]

My daughter just happens to be 900 when she travels into the past to find me as Sailor Moon.

Also... sort... of. His plan was always to come into the past, but he attacked the future... or I guess, present, for him, first. He attacked Earth, destroying nearly all life on the planet, and attacked my future self. My future self got- [Wait, Varian's trauma... best... not to mention what she gets encased in.] - I was deeply injured and couldn't stop him.

So my daughter stole into the past, looking for Sailor Moon, having been told stories of my abilities but... uh, well actually I don't think knowing my future self and Sailor Moon were one and the same.

Prince Demande followed her into the past, that is, my present, for the second part of his plan to alter history and stop me from ever even taking the throne so that his family could rule the planet.

...Right. So you just...exist for a thousand years and bring on a new age. While also getting married and having a kid.

[He's trying his very best here, Usagi. If he knew, he'd be very grateful for her avoiding his big old mess of trauma. As is, he's mostly confused.]

That's- wow, that's a lot. Did... did I ever tell you how utterly insane your world is? So...how did you fix it? You're still alive so I'm...assuming you fixed it?

That's my understanding of it, yeah. I apparently remove cavities as a thing too and even get a cake invented that tastes as good as regular cake but is like, no calories and helps you lose weight. [Priorities.]

Oh... I'm not... even getting into the details, Varian. This is like, bare bones.

As for how I fixed it... that... well, I traveled into the future with the other senshi, but since I couldn't use MY crystal since it was the crystal of the past and the crystal of the future was wielded by a more powerful version of myself, the battle against Wiseman, who had turned into the planet by this point [Let that sentence sink in.] was moved into space and an entirely different reality where I could actually use my powers. Originally Wiseman, was going to have HIS planet self crush slam into Earth and destroy it but I held him back. When he realized he was losing, he retreated and I followed which honestly was HIS mistake cause then I could properly use my powers.

That's... well, that's sure a lot!

And all of that is just when I was 14-15. There's my entire battle against Queen Beryl and Queen Metallia, Pharaoh 90 and Mistress 9, Queen Nehellenia... which involves more time travel, actually, the Princess Kaguya imposter, and then of course, Galaxia and Chaos, which also has more time travel.

I don't mention this stuff cause it's practically impossible to explain. I barely understand it most of the time.

I don't blame you. I feel like this needs some sort of...flow chart to-to try and understand it. I'm sorry it happened to you, all the same. I think... that's the important part of focus on. That you had to go through it at all.

It... also tends to involve me being the target of attacks... a lot... or dying... more than once. And that's not exactly something everyone is okay with hearing. [A pointed look.

It happened. It was either fight against it or let them kill me. Or fight against it or let some dark regime rule the planet. I have the ability to stop it and I don't really want to think about what would happen if I didn't.

I'm lucky because I didn't have to face any of it alone. So.

[She doesn't know what else to say on the matter. She made peace with the fact long ago she was never going to be a normal teenager again.] I'm just... sad it kept happening, I suppose.

Of course, Varian. I would trust you with my life, never mind my secrets.

You can give me the look as much as you like, I'm never gonna be okay with you getting hurt or killed. That's just something you're gonna have to deal with.

I'm glad you weren't alone at least, as...as awful as it sounds. And I'm sad to hear that too. It's not fair.

[Which he knows she gets- if either of them has something they can both rely on, it's the fact that life is not fair. But he needs to say it anyway. And oh, his expression softens. ]

Interesting, and yet I'm supposed to be completely okay about you not eating and sleeping which by the way, has also proven to cause death and harm maybe SLOWER but definitely CAUSES it?

[She merely lifts a brow and leaves that statement exactly where it is. Tired Usagi is also a bit snippy on top of being over-tired.]

But no, I wasn't alone... I don't... do alone all that great. [She's pretty much ALLERGIC to the notion of being alone. She lets out a breath and smiles at him.]

I didn't say you were supposed to be okay with it. You definitely make your feelings on that clear either way. And I'm trying with the sleeping thing now, it's not from lack of trying, trust me.

[For once, he is keeping his word and genuinely trying to take better care of himself. Trench just has other ideas. ]

I know, that's... that's why I'm glad for it.

[She definitely needs to have so many people behind her, and she deserves that. His smile softens.]

Anything Vivi puts his mind to, he can achieve.

Except get a good night's sleep, apparently.

Even that you'll solve, some things take longer for you to figure out, is all.
