[When the video turns on, Usagi looks... well, honestly downright haggard. But Usagi, when exhausted has a bad habit of masking and thus, acts even more bubbly and energetic than usual. And before you ask, no, she's not fine. But she will lie and say she is.
But don't mention the bags under her eyes, that's rude.]
HI EVERYONE!
[She's waving at the screen excitedly in some hopes to not let on the deep exhaustion she's badly hiding.]
My name is Usagi Tsukino! I uh... met some of you before when we first got here but couldn't really properly introduce myself! BUT I CAN TALK AGAIN! [And she's decided to make that everyone's problem.] Actually, I've been able to talk for AWHILE but ANYWAY! So hi!
Anywho! Do you know what I realized last night? I mean, probably a LOT of people have realized this actually but I doooon't think anyone has said it, or, at least I don't think so! Maybe I missed it! Sorry if someone already said something like this!
[She's rambling.]
Anyhow! I realized that while lots and lots and lots and lots of people may already know lots and lots and lots of other people cause ya know, so many of us came from Deerington, there are JUST as many people who have absolutely no clue who anyone else is or where we are or why we're here! I mean, I'm those last two too, but I lucked out on knowing some of you!
SO! So so so! I thought, hey! Why not introduce yourself and then we can all get to know one another and we can all help one another and it will be awesome and we can be all amazing together!
I'LL START!
My name is Usagi Tsukino! I'm originally from Tokyo, Japan! I love cats and rabbits, food, and video games and my favorite hobbies are sleeping and eating but oh oh oh! I like shopping, making all sorts of new friends, playing video games, reading manga and comics, aaaaaand well actually I can't think of anything else right now!
Now it's your turn!
((OOC Notes: Feel free to tag other people, it's essentially an open post.))

[She winces, whoops, that was loud.]
And I have! I already invited one of them to the house for video games!

[That explains why he got the invite so quickly!]
I can try to make something to go alongside them. We want to leave a good impression, right? [Isnt that how home owning works? Atsushi doesn’t know for sure.]

[To Atsushi, being a good host seems like a very high compliment. Not just that, but it reminds him that he isn't a guest to Usagi. He's part of the household. Enough so to be considered a host there.]
Mm, that might be a good idea... Maybe we should take some time to find non-perishables and begin storing them for emergencies.

At the mention of stocking up, she winces, knowing full well that next month is October.

Yeah, I... completely agree. We kinda really need to focus on getting clean, fresh water.

Mm. I think preparing a store of water while we have a lot of it might be a good idea. Same for food... and maybe having some weapons.

[Fortunately, while that part of October will never completely heal over, Atsushi can’t imagine turning a weapon against Usagi. He knows he wouldn’t have the heart to hurt her in any form.]
I have a gun from home. I thought that maybe I should store it in reach for you both.

I guess... it's not a bad idea. I wonder how effective that stuff even is here. I wonder if we should get something... old-timey too, like a sword or something.

I don't really know anything about weapons. Makoto has her natural strength and Rei-chan is an archer on top of her martial arts and Minako can basically pick up anything sporty.

[The conversation feels so grim now. Especially for Atsushi, who is haunted more than ever by the memory of last year.]
… Sorry. I guess this is a lot to discuss out of the blue, isn’t it?
no subject
[You only ever need a gun pointed at your head once.]
And... it's not out of the blue. October is coming up. I know why you're worried.

Though he does sigh, both relieved and disappointed to be called out. A part of him had hoped that Usagi wasn’t carrying October around like he was, but of course… with all that happened, of course it would still haunt her.]
This year will be different. We’re ready this time. We won’t be caught off guard again.

[He's still bitter about last year. An excuse to lash out at something new and get revenge would feel kind of good.]
