HI EVERYONE!

[She's waving at the screen excitedly in some hopes to not let on the deep exhaustion she's badly hiding.]

My name is Usagi Tsukino! I uh... met some of you before when we first got here but couldn't really properly introduce myself! BUT I CAN TALK AGAIN! [And she's decided to make that everyone's problem.] Actually, I've been able to talk for AWHILE but ANYWAY! So hi!

Anywho! Do you know what I realized last night? I mean, probably a LOT of people have realized this actually but I doooon't think anyone has said it, or, at least I don't think so! Maybe I missed it! Sorry if someone already said something like this!

[She's rambling.]

Anyhow! I realized that while lots and lots and lots and lots of people may already know lots and lots and lots of other people cause ya know, so many of us came from Deerington, there are JUST as many people who have absolutely no clue who anyone else is or where we are or why we're here! I mean, I'm those last two too, but I lucked out on knowing some of you!

SO! So so so! I thought, hey! Why not introduce yourself and then we can all get to know one another and we can all help one another and it will be awesome and we can be all amazing together!

I'LL START!

My name is Usagi Tsukino! I'm originally from Tokyo, Japan! I love cats and rabbits, food, and video games and my favorite hobbies are sleeping and eating but oh oh oh! I like shopping, making all sorts of new friends, playing video games, reading manga and comics, aaaaaand well actually I can't think of anything else right now!

Uh, I think so? When I washed up I didn't remember much, but I'm pretty sure it's all back, more or less.

[She pumps a fist in excitement.] Eeeee yay! You're one of the best cooks here! [After Makoto, of course. But Usagi is absolutely biased.]

[Hunk grins.] That's pretty high praise, considering I have no idea how many people here can cook.

How've you been satisfying your sweet tooth here without me?

[She sniffs a fake tear.]

I haven't! Mako-chan tries but I haven't gotten a chance to explore the restaurants here cause I don't have money.

[He brightens a bit at the mention.]

You mean Makoto's here, too? Maybe she can help you get some cash, but if even she can't keep you fed, I might have to lend a hand.

And Rei and Minako! I don't know that cash is a thing everyone always wants to trade?

Huh! [He's excited to see Rei and Minako, too, although getting food for Usagi does ring a bit more pressing.]

Well, do you have anything anyone might wanna trade for? Goods, services, favors, that kinda thing?

Um... weelllll kinda?

My house is HERE in Deerington and my jewelry made it here too, but it's all... fake? Or just crystals? But so far I've been trading that. Course, none of the stuff that was gifts has been traded, and not the stuff that goes with matching outfits and shoes. [Naturally.]

Right, right. Getting settled here is a bit of a struggle, not gonna lie. It's a good thing I ran into Shiro when I did. Our house also ended up here somehow. I didn't know they could move entire houses, but stranger things have happened, all things considered.

Rei-chan and Vivi's houses are here too. So that makes... at least four houses of people here? Know anyone else? I wonder if there's a reason or if it's some giant coincidence?

I dunno, that's a lot of houses to be a coincidence. It's like they knew who was gonna be here.

I mean, maybe they did? The pthu-whatchmacallits [She's too tired to attempt that word right now.] like Mother Superior and Moon Presence, they are like the ones here. So maybe they knew?

[Hunk had always been a little on the paranoid side, and having spent so much time in Deerington only proved to him why that was a good thing.]

I mean, hopefully! Maybe if they're going out of their way to bring our old houses here for us, they're at least trying to make us feel welcome. Or, y'know. Lull us into a false sense of security...

Either way, we have a house though, right?

But I think they do want us to feel welcome! They were so nice to us when we washed up on the beach... most of them, anyway. And like, they gave out free food! That didn't ya know... poison us or make us hallucinate or suddenly turn 100 or 10 or something! I think these people are really genuine!

Not just a house. My wardrobe too!

Oh yeah, that was pretty good food! It's... it's nice to be able to trust food, y'know? If we can't trust food, we are lost as a culture.

You always truly understand, Hunk. You are the wisest of all of us.

Aww, thanks, Usagi! Y'know, I wish more people would hear me talk about food and come to that conclusion.

They just don't remember how crucial food is until they don't have any. But we know better.

Y'know, maybe I could make this whole food thing work for me here. Kinda like what I was doing before?

Maybe you could open your own restaurant!
