[Which it might not be,"light sword" is pretty broad, and this is a big city.]
...But going after them isn't a smart idea. If this is anything like the dream, they might not have even been in their right mind when they did it. And even if they were, what would attacking them solve? You kill them, they kill you, either way, there's an extra dead body- two if you somehow kill each other. It won't bring him back or undo any of this.
[Varian's all too familiar with revenge at this point, he doesn't want to encourage it now, especially not with the limited knowledge they have.]
There has to be a better solution than just adding to the body pile.

It won't solve anything. Varian sounds a lot like Flynn here, says a lot of the things that Flynn would say, and it breaks through his thoughts for a moment. Maybe he shouldn't-- doesn't have to-- could be okay, without hurting anyone.

[The why is the real question- one that could have any number of answers. Maul or Savage could just easily as kill someone because they felt like it, but the others? He doesn't know. He'd like to think Maul learned better after the last time this happened.]
I don't know. In the dream, sometimes our mental states were...altered. We- it'd turn us against friends, strangers- anyone. Honestly, the why might even be 'because the town made them do it'.

[ Yuri's voice breaks and he pulls the Omni away from himself for a long moment, trying to get himself under control. He hasn't cried in years, but it's there, just behind his eyes, and being angry is easier than being sad ]

[He hears Yuri's voice break and his heart wrenches. This is never easy for anyone to go through. The fact nothing can fix this kind of thing is a hard lesson to learn. ]

[He doesn't know if it would or not. He has no damn clue, but he knows bodies are extremely out of his wheelhouse. He doesn't even know how much they are in Eddie's, but he has a far better chance of figuring out what the hell is going on than anyone else here.]

[ Yuri's voice sounds dead when he says it. It's not about Eddie. It's about the insurmountable task ahead of him: dealing with Flynn's body. Targeting his anger at someone let him forget that that was something he had to do. It's lying there in his house, waiting for him.
Maybe Eddie can deal with it, and Yuri can just... he doesn't know. Go fight some monsters or something. That'll help. Except that the monsters are people, and he doesn't want to kill people. Not if he's doing all this to honor Flynn's memory. If he's doing that, he has to do things right. ]
