If your presence in this place only brought corruption and made everything worse, would you return to the ocean? Blood can not be shed here, but if you can't avoid it, then what are you meant to do?

I know I am selfish for wanting to exist, but I still would like to, even in a place like this.

I'm just not sure how.

Assuming you're referring to some form of the corruption or beasthood that seems prevalent here, there are those who make it their job to help. You should talk to them.

And I stand by what I said earlier. If you want to do better, then do better. Excuses and self-pity help no one, least of all yourself.

I assume your urges are triggered only by humans? You would not have a drive to devour a synthetic being, for example. Is that correct?

Don't get me wrong. If I didn't believe that your desire to avoid causing harm was genuine, I would agree that you should go back to the ocean. And if you wouldn't go willingly, I would be first among those who would hunt you down.

[But...]

If you want things to change — if you want to avoid hurting people — then you need to find a permanent solution. And until you do so, there must be measures in place to prevent it from happening again.

As I said. Someone needs to be able to stop you if and when you lose control.

If you wish to live, then find someone you trust to do so.

You should start with the Sanctuary in Crenshaw. The people there are committed to finding ways of purifying beasthood and corruption. I know your situation is not the same, but perhaps they can help you.
