[Ok, so ... Neo had a little problem. No, strike that. She had a major problem. She was currently perched on top of a bench, glaring at the ground as if it had wronged her. She scowled down and glared at the ground before typing her message.]

First of all, I would like to just say that everyone needs to be careful about learning things.
There are things that perhaps, maybe just maybe, you don't need to learn and you're better off not knowing.
And on that subject, I am really and firmly starting to believe we should burn all books.

No, I'm serious. We absolutely need to burn every book in the city of Trench right now.
And if any of you mother fuckers understands why I'm currently freaking out, sucks to be you too.
Because I'm pretty sure it's happening again and I could really use a little help.

I'm currently hanging out in a tree in Prufrock and could use an assist.
Also, Maul? I mean it. You see a book titled Buried, just fucking burn that bad boy before you get the urge.
We do NOT need to repeat the shit that we had happen last time.

Is there some kind of book curse going around again?
I remember that happened before one time.

I was actually just deciding that this guy named Bradbury was wrong.
And we should just set the thermostat at the local library up to 451 to be safe.

And not 100% sure, but I read a book and now the ground's trying to swallow me.
So, I'm just going to say "Karma is a bitch" and assume that it's something like that.
Because the last cursed book I read dumped me in the sewers for digging a hole.

I never got all that involved in the last one.

[Then a thought occurs to him.]

Last time these books belonged to that abomination. What was his name....? He and a bunch of his cronies stole the ones I had hoarded and hurt Malice while doing so. [Both made him mad but the latter had been what really put them on Maul's hitlist. No one hurt his beloved pets and got away with it. No one.] If they have shown up again, they must belong to him or someone else from that world. Perhaps we should kill them and this will all stop?

I would be very interested to hear what you propose we do about cursed food.

Will burning the book remove the curse? I'm sure someone here could track it down for you. And I could bring you a horse, if you like.

[Haha, very funny. Nah, she wasn't going to be doing that thanks. She just needed to get out of this and find somewhere she could stay for a while. Maybe sleep on a couch for a bit. It'd get figured out eventually.

That's just about exactly how I expected you to respond actually.
I figured I should warn you of all people because boy are these things the last thing for us.
I don't know if that guy is here, but it's possible he is.

And if he is, he'll be trying to collect and seal them away again most likely.
But I think we both know killing him won't make them go away if he's here, so plan B.
Destroy every book in sight. Sounds like a great plan to me.

Haha, but yeah fair enough. I might be overreacting since the ground tried to eat me.
That puts me in a bit of a bad mood really.

I'm not entirely sure if that will remove the curse, not exactly.
It was unpredictable the last time that I had to deal with these things, if theyre the same.
I'm thinking a cart might be wiser for the horse.

Well, I can't drive a cart, but I can ride a horse. Perhaps someone else here might be able to bring you a cart, or remove your curse, but I'm afraid a horse is all I can offer at the moment.

I'm very sorry the ground tried to swallow you. That sounds like it would be terrifying. Is it only the ground outside, or are you having trouble with floors, too?

I'm just worried that the curse might affect the horse as well and I don't want that.

Really made you want to to dig and never stop.
Got destroyed and opened a hole dropping me in the sewers.

[ Maybe Chizuru is taking that suggestion a little too seriously, but.. never say the girl is not dedicated towards the people she sees as friends. Apparently Neo is out there needing help, even if Chizuru isn't so sure how the ground could swallow up anyone, and so Chizuru is just here trying to provide said help.
