[Tinya looks like she could hug him] Thank you. Thank you so much for not--not treating me like I was the wrong one, that I have a right to be angry at her for what she did to my husband. And yeah, for a whole year.

They were in space. Got it second-hand that she said she was afraid he'd trash the shuttle. But I know my husband, he has complete control of his powers. So that would never happen.

It is. It is horrifying. It's counter to everything that Titan--a moon of Saturn populated by telepaths--claim to stand by. No exploiting the minds of others. No using of others as their puppets. No hyper-defensiveness when someone from outside the system expresses concern about how one of its natives conducts themselves. And definitely, absolutely no tricking people into believing someone else was their wife and having intimacies with him because of that.

I have to wonder if it's something she's implanted in his mind. I've...brought up the subject of going to someone else to probe his mind and see if there's anything there which shouldn't be, but he claims to be fine. I don't know who he's lying to, me or himself.

You would think that if she truly felt this necessary she would then stand in responsibility for what followed. Especially checking his mind.

That is ultimately the problem, it seems. If she did implant something likely the only way to root it out would be to force into his mind once more. I imagine it would do far more bad than good.

Yes. Some telepaths can leave traps behind in people's minds. What if...what if she left one in Jo's and it was sprung? I couldn't forgive myself for that.

I can't help hoping that he does. He was in the other world for a while, but he hadn't been...subjected to what was done to him yet. I'd give just about anything for the Jo when I was from to be here.

Even though she had her own fiancé there with her the entire time. I--I know from experience that it's possible to love more than one person at a time, but what she did doesn't strike me as love. More like possessiveness.
