[The feed opens for a moment to Charlie, sporting a black eye and a scabbed lip (thank you Dean Winchester), but he doesn't seem to mind that; instead he's eagerly sitting in his bar, which is open to the public (sorry everyone), and it appears to have quite an assortment of questionable criminal-like men and old tired sailors.]

Hey, dudes! It's Charlie here, and I got a video I was gonna play for you — like, it's just a cool thing I put together for the pub now that it's open, but also because I'm gonna have a big sale there with all the crazy stuff I found around town this weekend, so — yeah, check it out! I think it came out pretty great!

And just as a tip: don't linger in the alleyway outside of the bar. People get stabbed there a lot.

[When it cuts back to Charlie, he seems really proud of himself and awaits your adoration.

If anyone is so bold as to show up at this yard sale being held at Paddy's Pub's outdoor area... they may very well find some unique and unusual trinkets he had taken from the sewers... or just useless and/or gross things. There are absolutely diamonds in the rough here. May the odds ever be in your favor, because for every rock or sock or fork, there's a magical gem or rare ingredient to a spell.

Who knows what you'll find!

... And yes, the pub is likewise open for business, if you need moonshine to get you through the day.

I've heard them referred to as a mace, but that usually applies to a spiked ball on a long wooden handle. There's something more poetic in calling it a morning star. It would have been used to take down a knight in full armor. I imagine one strike would have the target seeing stars, to say the least.

It's not my speed: my fists will suffice, or a firearm when I'm not in the mood to get blood on my boots. But Locrian, my Hunter-colleague, would find it useful.

It was a lot of fun to shoot a gun, but I got shot in the head once, so I try not to get too wrapped up in guns these days.

They aren't for everyone, though they're certainly useful in keeping things at a distance that you'd rather keep off you. Zombies, as a strong for-instance, or the Beasts in this place, and the Beasts alarm me almost more than zombies do.

I remember there were some in this big arena thing. Don't know how I got there, but yeah.

Ahh, the Gate. I managed to avoid the place, though I suspect I'll be summoned there eventually. I got through last month's restlessness by running along people's rooftops.

Please tell me they didn't pit you against some of those creatures and that you were there to cheer someone on?

They wanted me to fight some other people from town, first?

But I was, like, way too high to do that. So.

[A pause, and a look of contained fury gathers his handsome features before his usual sangfroid relaxes his face.]

I wish I'd been there to have your back in all that. You're one of the few Sleepers who matter to me.

[He's not going to straight up call him a friend, but it means the same thing.]

You remind me a bit of a business contact I had, who later became a criminal informant. He wasn't the smartest individual, but he was about one of the most resourceful people I'd met. He also made me laugh, which is not an easy thing to accomplish.

[He's completely serious, not in his usual sinister way, but almost in a human, "I'm being honest with you." fashion.]
