So for those not in the know, our house burned down last month.

And not in the 'dumb accident' sense. No, it's because apparently it's socially acceptable in this place to come to someone's house and set it on fire, before bringing your friends inside to start murdering its inhabitants. [ Okay, yes. At this point it's not thiny veiled annoyance anymore. This is obvious annoyance that she doesn't bother to hide. ] And before anyone asks me if I'm alright— I'm fine. Totally fine. I mean, I half-turned into a beast back there, but it's clearly cool. It's fine.

Though Ange seems to realise that's not why she was supposed to make this message, and manages to snap herself out of passive-aggressive-ville for just long enough to sigh and sound a little bit more neutral as she speaks on. ]

Anyway, we want to rebuild the house, but that's obviously something we need help with. None of us are exactly architects.. I think. I've learned to not question weird Remnant hobbies. [ You never know what those Remnant people are capable of. ] Not to mention we'd need help with the actual physical rebuilding itself too.

We could use help from a lot of people, so if anyone would be willing to help, that'd be great.

Falco seems like a good kid, so I've been keeping an eye on him as much as I can while Dipper is... Uh, indisposed. I know Dipper helped him last winter, so I kinda feel a little responsible for him even if we don't know each other that well.

I think the others will be staying with Johnny Sensei for a while, so that'll make your job a little easier. You've still got people on my end, though.... However our home gets rebuilt.

Ozpin got information that breaking the token for Julia's mother would release her and let her achieve her true form, and he died for that information. Breaking Cynthia Sodder's token is what let her become the Moon Presence here.

... And we hoped that breaking ours would release us, too.

But there's never a way to know for sure, is there.

Well, my main go-to on soul magic bullshit just revealed himself to be a total monster. So I'm not sure if I can recommend anyone to investigate yet, if you really think something's wrong.

Honestly, I'm not sure what's up. So much in the dream came from stuff that could only happen in dreams. I'm thinking the this could be related to being... You're gonna laugh, being a Remnant of what's left of Julia Sodder's legacy.

All I know is that neither Ozpin's or my own magic has been the same since we got here. He can't use any of it, all I can do is use the bird shape I found in that place.

We tried to cut ourselves from the gods that abandoned our world. Maybe they're mad and finding a way to get back at us?

Not Pyrrha Nikos, but that's why I started talking to this person. She looks like a strong, kinda scary guy... But she knows the problems that go with sharing headspace with other people, and she's very serious about keeping her word.

I haven't met many other people who get that problem, besides you and a couple of others. And this Pyrrha says she can keep John in line.

I'm not sure what I'm doing yet with that.

As for the other thing? I'm not the one making a deal. That angry kid has given me a Job and I'm not sure what their reasons are yet.
