[ Rey looks awkward in front of the camera, this is not her natural element. She doesn't enjoy calling attention to herself, and this feels very self-indulgent, but save walking around and polling anyone she comes across this seems like the most efficient way to ask her questions. ]

Hello. For those of you who don't know me which is- probably a lot of you, my name is Rey.

[ She pauses, chewing on the inside of her bottom lip briefly as she tries to think of how to proceed. ]

I'm wondering how those of you who are used to running for your lives, or fighting every day to survive have settled here. How you found things to be useful to the community.

I was a pilot and a scavenger back home, there doesn't seem to be much call for either of those things here.

So I was just wondering how others adjusted.

[ He smiles back. But he does pause to give it a good thought. ]

Given how things often go on the Trench, I'm sure you could find good work as a builder. The Sanctuary could always use help, and a group of people are establishing an outpost in uncharted territory, if the everyday danger of the Trench is too boring for you.

[ He shrugs slightly. ]

It's a good time to figure out what you really like to do and what makes you happy. There's no rush.

I was trained by your mother for a year, a little boring everyday danger is appreciated.

[ She's sort of joking. Really Leia didn't kick her ass nearly as hard as Rey herself did.

She exhales, pressing her lips together at that word. "Happy." ]

I thought I knew what would make me happy, but... being here changes things.

[ He's still wrapping his head around his mom training someone as a Jedi. Not that she's incapable-- he's pretty sure she can do anything she really sets her mind to-- but she's always been a politician first.

Contemplatively: ] What did you think would make you happy back home? Maybe we can find something similar.

[ Or not, depending on what it is. ]
