Last month, I had the unfortunate issue of losing control of my vampiric nature and lashed out onto a number of people here. I hope you would be willing to accept my apology and if not, direct me in ways where I can make amends. I . . . do not usually need or require blood as sustenance so it took me by surprise.

My apologies. If it helps, it seems I've lost my sense of taste. Perhaps that is penance in a way.

I do not and should not. Drinking blood is not necessary for my survival. It was an aberration.

I would think there is a difference between a civilian and a vampire.

Being faster, stronger and having a killer instinct when unleashed.

We don't have vampires were I come from. Although some people may have a quirk with vampire-like traits. That still wouldn't make them different from any other civilian.

While powers can certainly add to the danger, it is not the same.

It is the instinct. People with powers may lash out. Lose control. But deep down, instinctively, vampires are always hunting. They always want prey. To fulfill the thirst.

They are predators.

I am a vampire. So I also possess that instinct, though it does not govern me.

But you think people don't possess that instinct. That you're the only predator.

No. I'm well aware that some people do.

But I would not say all.
