[He debates for a while if he wants to post this anonymously or not. He very nearly does, for fear of making people worried.]

[But he's trying to be better about his mental health, and if he can put his face to this then others can feel more comfortable talking about their problems, too.]

I was just wondering...

A lot of us are 'heroes' in our home worlds, or maybe 'chosen ones' or... basically we're expected to save the world or do something amazing.

How do you change from that to going to an everyday life? I've been trying to for months, but I can't shake the habit if expecting to solve every problem by myself - or nearly by myself, at least. ... It's nice to be regarded as a 'normal' person, but it's difficult to stop trying to be a 'hero'.

It's getting to be a problem, not knowing how to not take on too much. Does anyone have any tips?

For me, I try to remember what life was like before I came to Korriban and went on my path to Sith Lordhood. When that gets depressing, I recall those small moments in between my adventures.

One more researcher can't hurt, should you ever get your equipment. Lately, I try to fill that void from adventuring with reading, meditation and doing chores.

Give it a week or two and I'm sure something bad will happen and we'll all have to jump in to fix it.

That's why I do lightsaber exercises at least once a day. Can't afford to get rusty just because nothing shows up for a while.

That it is. Back in my universe, the time in between adventures was usually spent either on my ship or in the cantinas.

I've done the occasional odd job as well. Usually it involved Imperials asking me for help because as a Sith, they figure I can do the task with competence, especially if it's dangerous.

There's a whole guide for adventurers in your universe?

Interesting. My galaxy could stand to adopt such a thing. There's the Bounty Brokers' Association, but that's mainly for those who want to do bounty hunting. Going after criminals and whatnot.

Bounty hunting is considered a legitimate profession within my Empire, even if some folk like to claim to hate bounty hunters. While Mandalorians tend to corner the market there's nothing stopping anyone with a blaster or lightsaber from working with the Brokers and getting bounty contracts.

The Mandalorians are a culture of warriors. Some say they're the best warriors in the galaxy. They often become professional bounty hunters.

A lightsaber is like a sword, only the blade is made of focused energy. A blaster is a gun that shoots bolts of hard light.

Hard light is light that's concentrated to the point of becoming physical. So it can hurt you.
