Oh, I like mushroom soup just fine. But that message you sent was all kinds of messed up. It wasn't about soup, it was some kind of text I could hear, and it made me want to claw my eyes out. That's not a metaphor.

It was like the words were singing.

That's a good way to describe it. Kind of like that, only in my case it leapt from the device and straight into my head. My device made me sick.

Be careful with yours. If you've got someone you trust that's good with stuff like that, maybe have them take a look at it just to make sure it's safe. Better safe than sorry, you know?

There's always someone out there that's an expert on something. Since these Omnis are a requirement, probably a good chance someone's trying to make money off of that.

It's the first time it's happened to me, but I feel like I'm a bit of a "weird shit" magnet. Got a lot of messages I wasn't supposed to, but they didn't come with compulsions to claw my eyes out, or sing words I'd never heard of. Sent some strange messages, too, but they were harmless. Silly, even.

The user names changing like that? (It just did it again, for the record.) That's pure malevolence.
