[He still doesn't trust people, not here. Not anywhere, really. But he has to know. In a place this weird, he has to know.]

I'm just wondering... who here is not human? You don't need to tell me who you are if you don't want to, but I just want to get a sense for how many people who are not human are here.

I can't be the only one.

And a second question: is it safe for those who are not human here? I mean, I am definitely not like one of those beast things and I have no plans of attacking people. But human-dominated places tend to be somewhat unsafe for us.

And if you are some kind of mad scientist type reading this? Fuck off. We don't need people like you on our asses.

[Is that enough of a difference from his usual typing? He'll have to be careful about capitalization and punctuation so it sounds different from him, but...]

Not like that, it just makes history come out different than it did the first time around.
Nothing too important changed. Got a little weirder, that's all. The Jacksonville Jaguars got good at football for a little bit.

I gotta be honest, my buddy's the one who really follows football. He's a Jaguars fan.
DUVALL or whatever.
Visited Jacksonville with him one time, interesting place.

I spent most of my time in Australia, actually!
And Germany, and Canada.
The only other state we really did was New Mexico. Different friend's mom lived there.

Oh, no, she's human.
Dead again now, wasn't back then.

Yeah. She was dead, then I went back in time and undid it. That was the first point of departure - though I did get clearance for those!
eudaimonikos: (matters of fact)

Not really.
I mean, in theory, sure. But that's the only time it was ever done, so it's very far from standard. Had to go through this whole challenge with the Judge, and it was actually based on a larger legal argument.
And it worked because the afterlife timeline and the Earth ones don't line up, so getting back to the point they died was easy. I can't just look at a dead person here and go "stop being dead".

Yeah, sorry.
Your kind can die?
eudaimonikos: (repetition)

Huh.
That sucks.

I'm immortal, pretty much. We can get retired - not really dying, but about as close as we get - but that's a sort of public execution situation. Not likely to just happen.

Yeah. That does help.

Ah, don't worry about it. We all have our weird shit.
