See you at the Black Parade!

[Video opens up and its the Disaster house...isn't it? Or maybe its Halloween somehow making its way into the house. There are skeletons and zombie facsimiles all over the front of the house, ravens and colors of orange and black all over the top portion. Someone is very much using their ability to fly to make sure the house looks as complete as possible.

The backyard has a faux cemetery because of course it does, and currently putting up tombstones is one Luz Noceda, in a cat skull mask, and she waves to all of you].

Hey! Sooo...in light of getting back into my regular sleeping pattern, I learned that we have something like a certain festive holiday back home, except its all about hiding your face! There's folklore that reminds me a little of Samhain with the whole keeping away bad spirits, so I figure: why not get into the spirit, and meld that sentiment with Halloween from back home?

So over at the house I'll be doing my best to keep things creepy: eyeballs, fake blood, creepy music, the whole deal. Kinda helps with the ambiance, and so far? Nothing really bad has happened yet!

Granted, gotta keep it that way too! Part of this is for the fun, part is for, well, you never know? In case spooks around here aren't just made up.

That is pretty unique! I don't think I've ever visited a world like that! I mean, the one where I encountered demons and monsters was pretty surprising, but I don't think I ever heard of something like this!

Nope, not at all. I can get behind saying something in a more descriptive way. If that's how things are said where you're from, that's just the way it is. Human language can be pretty weird itself depending on who's looking at it.

Oh. I think I get that. Where I was living, I learned to use magic glyphs because they were a gift granted from the Isles. When I arrived at Deerington, though the magic got kinda wonky, it still worked even though I wasn't on the Isles anymore. So maybe there's something to us still keeping those capabilities even though we also have the magics our blood grants us.

I'm with you there. It's weird to have blood powers, but at least I can still do my own magic!

That seems to be the case. As far as I know, she's a fairly benevolent being though. I can't speak for the other Pthumerians.

I kind of hope they're the type of gods who don't need animal sacrifices, but I think that's probably impossible. Everything around here seems to be centered around blood.

Can you take out a monster that easily?

Really wished I could give more concrete information on all this, but I've only been here roughly about two months.

That's the hard part to judge. I've only been here two months, but the people in this world have been here much longer, and already established their beliefs and have scholars and acolytes. There's no way of truly knowing when the Pthumerians established themselves.
