[ Luna is... looking a little overwhelmed, although it might be hard to determine considering she's usually so wide-eyed all the time. But it does look like there's honestly too much going on all at once. The poor girl is a bit over-stimulated with the latest round of blood effects. Her senses are in overdrive, and just... so terribly confused right now. ]

How do I make a room that's silent—? Like from the outside? So I don't hear what's going on outside? Or perhaps someone has some very powerful ear-plugs? That might be a bit more convenient for going about outside, really...

[ She trails off for a long moment before she grimaces a little and then continues: ]

Something is... not quite right. Sometimes it's fine and then everything just goes... weird. Things... taste. And feel. When I shouldn't be able to taste or feel them in the first place. I just keep getting all these tastes in my mouth and they won't stop. [ Eating has been a nightmare the last few days. ]

It's... like I know what people taste like. And feel like.

[ Because that doesn't sound absolutely horrifying in the slightest. ]

This... is a blood thing, isn't it? I'm a Paleblood, if that helps. It must be a blood thing. Is... anyone else having this issue?

ooc: pls feel free to drop hints as to what character voices may taste like or physically feel like in ur tags. or I could just make something up for them.

How strange, and incredibly frustrating. So are things going too slow as well as too fast? [ There's a pinch of sympathy. ] Oh, I know that one. Back last year where I would lose a scent for a week or so. One week I couldn't taste anything, another week I couldn't feel, another I couldn't see, or hear.

[ Which each of them had come with their own set of problems, both minor and incredibly major. ]

I suppose no more odd than the fact I can taste how people sound. [ Luna can very much roll with oddness. ] Well, you're a bit like... what I imagine it would be like to eat a bundle of burning incense, without the burning. Like eating the smoke of it.

And... blood, I think.

It's... very unpredictable, like one of those rubber bands stretching and snapping back. [She grunted.] And yes, it was something like that though it lasted longer during the nightmare for me. The loss of touch was deeply disorienting and unpleasant.

Incense? [She sounded a little fascinated.] I have to say, I can understand the blood and incense combined. I do use it a lot. You should record these. If you have to go through this, maybe it can give you a little insight? At the very least you should get something, anything, out of this experience.

... It was the deaths, wasn't it? Those usually lasted a long time, the consequences of them. [ There's a pinch of sympathy there. ] The second time was a lot worse than the first. I forgot I was a witch, that I could do magic.

[ Mercifully, it was only two deaths. ]

Sometimes it does kind of make sense with people, other times it doesn't. [ But the general thing is that it often makes for unpleasant tastes in her mouth. ] Writing things down and making a record of things might be a good idea, actually. Even if the reason why I should might not be something that might immediately come to mind.

Although it does feel a little bit like cheating, like holding secret information on someone, if you know what I mean?

Yes, the fifth death caused a loss of one of the senses for several months at a time. [she grunted.] And, well, we both know that I was somewhat infamous for my experiences there. So, I had the choice privilege to experience two different times that my senses were damaged in different ways.

[She chuckled.]

I don't know that it's really cheating, but I do understand. You absolutely have permission in my case.

[ There's a little wince at that, just about audible. ]

I remember. You had an awful time of it. I do recall your... um, bodily displacement. [ Polite Lunaspeak for: one's head being off their shoulders for a time. ] I'm rather glad I didn't get any more deaths than two. It was more than enough for me.

Well, thank you for that. I suspect a few people I know wouldn't be too upset with it, either. So that's nice.

Mmmm. I had a recent spat with that happening again involving a magic pumpkin. [She made a face] I dislike Jack o lanterns now. But at least that was only a few days. I can't agree more on not seeking needless death in this world. Returning is not a privilege to abuse.

I have a feeling most of us wouldn't but knowing you, you'll take the chance to ask. Perhaps you'll learn a few interesting tidbits for the future. Might make up for the unpleasantness for now.

That's a terrible shame, I do like carving Jack O' Lanterns. It's a very fun festive activity. But this place and the dream often like ruining the things we like. [ :( ] And very much so, although I do think some don't quite understand that.

Oh how it's so good at ruining the beautiful things in life. Ah well. I'll get over that loathing eventually. Maybe when my head stays delightfully on my shoulders for a year. That would be nice.
