But it does look like there's honestly too much going on all at once. The poor girl is a bit over-stimulated with the latest round of blood effects. Her senses are in overdrive, and just... so terribly confused right now. ]

How do I make a room that's silent—? Like from the outside? So I don't hear what's going on outside? Or perhaps someone has some very powerful ear-plugs? That might be a bit more convenient for going about outside, really...

[ She trails off for a long moment before she grimaces a little and then continues: ]

Something is... not quite right. Sometimes it's fine and then everything just goes... weird. Things... taste. And feel. When I shouldn't be able to taste or feel them in the first place. I just keep getting all these tastes in my mouth and they won't stop. [ Eating has been a nightmare the last few days. ]

It's... like I know what people taste like. And feel like.

[ Because that doesn't sound absolutely horrifying in the slightest. ]

This... is a blood thing, isn't it? I'm a Paleblood, if that helps. It must be a blood thing. Is... anyone else having this issue?

I have seen some colors with sounds, but they haven't been very much trouble. I do have to be careful when I'm matching threads, though.

I can try to make something to block the noise out. I think your magic might work better for it than mine, though. My jewelry teacher might be able to make bloodstone you could put in your ears to stop the noise, but I imagine it would cost a great deal.

I suppose the colors are a little like watercolor paints. They always seem to fit the sounds, like the word 'ocean' is the same color as the ocean, and so are any ocean noises.

100% a Paleblood thing.

When I first got here, my native empathic abilities+Paleblood meant my senses went on overdrive and it was kinda like this. One of the gifts from the Tower as Patron has been a compass that can access a room cut off from everything. Pocket dimension. Vyng borrowed one from Michael for me, and helped me get sorted.

That said I'm trying to see if there's anything to paleblood stones and possibly lessening the intensity of the sensations. You'll be the first to know if I figure anything out.

When I look at things they have a physical sensation at the moment.
Reading is particularly difficult, letters feel sharp and words reflect their definition. 'Karate' felt like a blow, for example.

I think you'll have more luck with vile bloodstone. Sometimes it blocks the curses entirely. There's a connection between Vileblood and Paleblood, but I don't know how it works. I haven't had time to look it up in the Archives.

I tried to give vile bloodstone rings to all the Palebloods I know, but if I missed you I can make you a new one. I don't know that it will help very much with this curse, though.

[ As short as the initial reply is, it smacks Luna with a strong, curling smokes of a heady blend of incense. There's something else, too. A coppery, metallic taste she knows only too well — ... blood—?

It's an odd mixture on her tongue, even if she would never mind the incense by scent. Like accidentally getting perfume in one's mouth. It catches in her throat and she coughs a little to clear it. ]

This continues to get incredibly stranger. [ She clears her throat again, trying her best to be polite about it all. ] Voices going faster is a new one, though.

Excessive silence is usually unbearable. But it shouldn't be too hard to make something that will block out all or most sound.

I lost my hearing last year for about a week or so, I think the part that was most difficult was not hearing the voices of people I cared about. But silence isn't too terrible.

It's... a bit like that, yes. The sensations part isn't too bad, it can be a bit much since it's all over and not just say... in my hand if I touched something. The taste is often too many things all at once, and is quite unpleasant.

There's a lot of that happening among Palebloods. It's something I've heard in my world of origin, a neuro-sensory processing quirk known as synesthesia.

Have you any thick quilts or curtains? You might consider hanging them on your walls till this clears up.
