Okay, so everyone knows the lamp network is in the shitter right now, and in case anyone missed it, we got truck rides.

Hit them up if you want to stay safe. But. I'm doing rides, too, only I don't have a truck. It's piggyback or princess carry, bring your own helmet and maybe close your eyes if you're afraid of heights.

( so in due time, vi did track down jinx successfully and brought her straight home -- corrupted and all. and who would had thought that all she needed was to be held by her big sister and crash at her place (especially when she was one of the reasons she stormed off)? but jinx is a very unpredictable girl who sometimes she doesn't even know what she needs.

but all in all, things seem to be okay (for now). her blue skin resorted back to her milky pale complexion and no longer nude. the demonic tail, unfortunately, is still attached but no razor sharp spikes at least. the horns on her head are hanging on too but not as threatening. they seem to be shrinking by each given day. and who knows? maybe if she sticks around her sister just a few days longer, that and the tail will vanish into nothing. and it's amazing what sleep, a bath, and food can do for the body and mind. she feels almost like an entirely different person now all of those three things are met. in fact, she got out of the bath about an hour ago and she's now up in her sister's tree in her room.

while vi is there making an announcement on the network, her baby sister is surprisingly behaving and not interrupting whatever she is going on about. up in her tree, she has a hammock tied into one of the branches. and while her sibling yammers away, the teen whirls up above and then hangs upside down -- her long azure locks dangling along. )

( this is probably not anything out of the ordinary -- jinx grew to love being above it all. to her, the higher she is, the better the feel. and given her attachment with monkeys (not just because of her omen but with it also being her trademark), swinging along trees is to be expected. and whenever vi ends her broadcast and awaits for replies, jinx continues on to spin around peacefully with her hammock. )

From my place to a little bakery in Willful Machine, whenever you have the time and are up for something sweet. They've just started to put out their fruit tarts with this cookie base that is to die for and I don't want to walk there.

[how to describe a truck? could be they know of something similar and just aren't familiar with the term, could be it's a whole new concept.]

Big rolling box with wheels and an engine? Um, bigger than a car, so more room to haul stuff? And people, I guess. [if it's a ...covered truck? maybe? are there magical shields for that?]

Most of 'em. Could probably manage some workarounds if they're real heavy, or have more or less legs.

Unfortunately, I actually don't really travel by lantern. I use the staff to fly, and if that isn't available because Owlbert is in non staff mode, I can turn into the bird!

Also, there are my Fathiers, but I try not to ride them around people. They scare them.

The bed's good for hauling big, heavy shit like construction stuff, furniture, beast bodies. Also good for hauling ass away from angry plants and hellhounds.

I could do that, yeah. But I might take a little more care than I would with a sack of potatoes. That might be saying a lot, I really like potatoes. And it's rooftop to rooftop for me, so more of a leap than a drag, but not as good as flying!

I don't mind a little hot water if it's just me, but I'm not gonna put anyone else in danger. Just the safest leaps, even if it's the "long" way.
