cannabis is like... a mild sedative thats usually smoked or eaten in foods

its not really dangerous unless youre the type to get paranoid while on it since it does mess with your brain a little i think???

i dont really know how it works on a biological level i just know that it chills most people out and calms them down

I wonder if such a thing would even affect me. My biology is far different than a human being's, despite the superficial similarities on the surface. I might just eat it and experience absolutely nothing at all.

[Maul sent him directions to where his house lay in Prufrock near the Gate. He was sitting outside with the grumpy batcat in his lap, the latter purring contentedly. He waved a hand to Taro.]

[He grins and sits on the grass, tilting his head at the batcat. So he did keep it... cute.]

Thanks. I'm just glad that you're willing to try. ... To be honest this is a pretty mild drug compared to some others I've tried, but it's a fun one.

You... uh. You don't get paranoid easily, do you?

I got some cookies or smokeables. Which would you prefer? The former takes a bit to kick in but lasts longer, the latter's faster but lasts less long.

Cooking sedatives into foods sounds like a tool one would use in espionage.

Let us go with smoking. I don't want to have an emergency occur if I have an adverse reaction to eating something.

[He reaches into his pockets and pulls out some prerolled joints and a lighter.]

You just light the end here and puff inwards. The idea is to get the smoke into your lungs.

[So it should... probably work the same? Who the hell knows with aliens, man.]

[Fortunately, smoking was a habit found in most corners of the galaxy. Even if Maul had never participated before, he had the general idea down. He lit one and sucked the smoke into his lungs, holding it there for a little too long before he let it go, puffing and coughing afterwards.]

[He gasped out.]

[Yeah that's... about what he expected.]

More or less. You get the timing down the more you smoke. I'm pretty sure I coughed a lot my first time because I've never been great at timing things.

[Unless he's stealing something, then he's great.]

[Maul tried again and ended up coughing a second time, wiping away the tears that had accumulated at the corners of his eyes.]

This seems like an awful lot of work for a sensation which is supposed to end up being pleasant.
