Please excuse me.
I am aware this is an unorthodox question. But I am not in a position to research it myself.
Are there any habitable locations outside of Trench? Preferably those with minimal populations.
Thank you for your time.

Unless you can't the weird town with the weird god that just got taken down.
I don't think I'd count that place yet.

No, I don't believe the abandoned town will be of help. There is really nowhere else?

I'm sure you could find something that would do the trick if you looked. But I don't how reliable that might be.
Back in the dream we couldn't even leave the town without weird things happening.

Has no one really investigated out here?

I think it's generally been considered pretty dangerous. The further you get away from the city the more blood powers tend to not pack the same punch.
If you're looking to explore a little more. I'm sure you could convince some people to come along.

why?

The empty city won't be of any help I'm afraid.
The reason is rather complicated.
no subject
i guess i don't really know why you're asking, but if it's because you want to be far away from people i don't think it's a good idea
people need people
no subject
May I ask why?

with all the corruption and beast stuff i was worried too. it's just another way that can happen, only worse

That is rather personal. And complicated.

In any case, I don't think it's a good idea to live away from others. The further you are from the city, the more dangerous it is.
no subject
It's simply necessary for me to do at the moment. I'm aware it isn't entirely wise.

[ That's the only logical reason she can come up with as to why someone would need to be away from people. ]

It's only because he's very capable at handling corruption and beasts though. And he's really good at surviving on his own.
Are you worried about being around other people?
[ The question is just... phrased too politely to seem like an asshole who just doesn't like others. ]
no subject
Ah well.
For the sake of argument, let's say that I am.

He was used to protecting himself from and fighting corruption before this place too. I don't think it's an option that's a good idea for just anyone. Otherwise they're likely to just go missing and become one of the beasts in the forest.
It isn't so much a worry about fighting off creatures that exist out there after all, but becoming one yourself.
. . . [ Just that. There's the dot dot dot of someone thinking and trying to formulate a response for a while. ]
I don't know who you are or what your reasons are so I can't really say... I could be wrong. Maybe you turn into a werewolf and eat anyone around you once a week.
But in my experience running away from your problems just makes worse problems.
no subject
Does fighting them often result in transformation?
[It would definitely explain a few things. He'd been fighting them in that other city. And then suddenly ended up ... like this. Despite his best efforts.]
[The response isn't all that heartening, but it's still more information than he had before.]
I've always been the sort to run toward the problem, really. For better or worse.
This time it is... in everyone's best interest I act in the opposite of my usual habits.
no subject
If you're still trying to figure it out, I can talk with you about it. I've been here almost two years now. Purifying corruption and trying to save people who have become beasts... it's what I do.
[ A long pause. More dot dot dots. ]
I can try to help you, if you tell me about it.
For your best interest too.

I don't know how many live along the roads to the farm, but it can't be terribly many. We're warned off of them due to the potential of beasthood or being attacked by beasts, after all.

Is there truly nowhere outside of Trench considered safe for habitation?

But thank you for your suggestion, regardless.
