[ Her accent is unmistakenly American. ]

Anyway. I'm Laurel Lance and I've been here for a little over a week now. Not going to lie, it's been a lot to take in, but I think I'm getting there. I just have a couple of questions for people.

Firstly, where has the best coffee?

Secondly, is there a gym or something like it around?

Last but not least, I'm wondering if there's a need for legal advice in this place. I'm a lawyer back home.

That's nice, I get how that feels. I- well, I'm an only child, but I've ended up with a lot of people in my life, back home and here, who are pretty much siblings to me. You just want them to be safe, right? Even if they sometimes go running into danger anyway.

With my sister at the moment. Though I'm looking to get a place of my own soon. I can shoot you a message when I'm settled.

Always want them to be safe. Not just her, but my other friends and family back home. They tend to get into trouble now and again, so I'm glad someone else understands.

I really do. The family I have here are pretty much professionals at getting themselves in danger. Uh... though they'd probably say the same about me. I've got into my share of problems, too. I guess you could say we look out for each other?

It's good that you have people to look out for you and vice versa. I'd be lying if I said I didn't get into trouble either, but it comes with the nature of my job.

I know we don't know each other well, but if you ever need back-up, I'd be happy to provide it.

That's pretty much how it works. We all look out for each other...y'know, in spite of and sometimes because of our likelihood of getting into danger.

I like the library in Gaze! That place is my favourite in the whole city. There's so much you can learn from there.
