I have made my warning to a handful of you before, but there are many that I've yet to meet. And so, this is primarily to those who do not know me.

I am something to be wary of. 'Tis not meant as a threat, but a matter of what I am. Call it what you shall, be it a curse or condition, but the brand on my head is not for display only. Many would call me an abomination where I am from, and it is not far from the truth.

I fight back the instincts of a demon inside of me. I hold it back by whatever means I am able, with my will and the bonds I take with me. With years of practice, I am typically able to hold it back, but there can never be a promise of my willpower. If there comes a time in which this beast emerges and I transform, I do not expect mercy on my behalf.

I understand that there are some with a similar situation as myself, or that you have experienced enough horrors to be prepared for it. Making demands of a person is impossible, I know that, but I want to be clear that I am a thing to be careful with.

Demonic possession sucks. Is the brand supposed to be a suppression seal or did they just expect you to handle on your own like dicks?

I... will simply say that the order expected their own methods to either work or keep me contained. It would be best if I don't speak much on that for your sake.

[Even if he maybe caused it himself based on what he was saying to other people. Doesn't mean he didn't deserve help.]

And I'm not scared of demons. [She did used to have one teaching her Defense Against the Myst class. She knows some demons are good and otherwise need to be dropped into a pit.] Have you tried seals before? Rune or otherwise.

They did not have the knowledge to help, even if they were inclined to really assist. I doubt that most of them were.

Had your fair share of them, I take it?

Seals do not help with it. No amount of prayer or runes can put it away for good. Though I do have enchanted bindings that help suppress it, it is otherwise held away by my will.

Demons in my world come in all shapes, sizes, and solidity. The ones take steal bodies tend to be full of shit once they don't have one.

[In her experience, but his sounds like something else entirely. Seals don't work? Runes don't work? Prayers are always a crapshoot of faith, but damn.]

If your will is the only thing keeping it locked down, have you tried Red Bull? That shit makes people want to climb mountains bare-handed.

It appears to me that demons come in all manner of possibilities. So, albeit runes do not work where I may be from, perhaps I need a different manner of magic from another realm?

[There's a pause, then he asks hesitantly:]

Red Bull is the name of a chemically engineered drink to give them energy and increase their motivation.

I see. That sounds like some drinks back in my realm, but we never gave it such a name.

I am not unwilling to make an attempt. What type of magic?

Magic focused through runes. We could make an amulet or runestone, but I specialize in tattoos. I can reflect the magic of the person the tattoo is for. And runes that boost the power of will are easy.

It might not be a perfect seal itself, but it could just boost your own built-in seal.

No tattoos. I-- no. But we can try stones or an amulet.

Not one for the permanent ink huh? No big deal. Amulets and runestones are rechargeable at least and can get their power from an outside source if needed, so they do have that in their favor. Any kind of runes you know don't work or would you mind me getting a better look at you? Up close.

I am afraid that I don't particularly excel in the knowledge of magic. Science was my calling for a time, so you may have to examine in person.
