Hello.

My name is Naruhodo Ryunosuke. I'm still relatively new to this so please forgive me if I make any mistakes. I'm looking for someone who could teach me how to use a katana. I've been lucky enough that I have the weapon but I have no idea how to wield it properly. After recent events, I think it would best to learn how to use it.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Yes. You're small. That can be an advantage. I'll try to make a sword that's well suited to your size.

I mean, I feel it's self-explanatory. Learning to fight usually involves replicating actual fights and if you're going to be good at it, that means actually fighting at some point. Your body will be sore as you develop the right muscles to be worth anything with a sword.

Though I suppose it wasn't made for me.
That's a fair point. I didn't think about how it would affect my body learning something new.

Sure, why not? Swords are easy to make. Well, we can practice with that one and I can make you a better one in the meantime.

You really are a novice. Have you ever been in a fight period?

I have not, and if I am honest my targets with archery were stationary.
I'm not sure how I'd fare against a moving target.
