Good afternoon,

I’m Winter Schnee and I’m in need of assistance. This is not a D.A.R.T. matter or related to public safety, it’s a personal matter. I need to know if there is anyone that has information regarding the care of a Warg. For the most part I’m familiar with the diet she had previously, but I’m not certain about the frequency or the amount of exercise and training that I should be providing for her. And I’m doubtful of some of the answers that she has provided me.

In addition, I’m in search of a plumber and carpenter to take care of damages that were recently sustained to our house.

Finally, for anyone that was attempting to reach me in the past weeks, I am now monitoring the network once more and will resume my usual responsibilities at this time. If there is a matter that requires my attention please notify me as soon as possible.

That's fair. Don't push yourself though. It's normal to not be okay after someone you care about leaves like that.

There are still things that need to be done at the same time. We knew there was a chance of this happening when we started this. [Winter just never thought that Rei would be the one that would be sent home.]

Having seen a lot of people come and go I get knowing it could happen sometime or another. It doesn't end up making it any easier when it actually happens though.

It's never easy, and it never gets easier. No matter how much you train or think you're prepared for it. In the end, all you can do is find something else to keep you moving forward. [Anything to keep you from falling down, from letting your emotions control you.]

We're not as cold or heartless as all of you think.

...Yeah... I know a thing or two about that. Like when Penny and Pyrrha passed back at home. Sometimes taking a step forward is the only way to get your mind off of it.

[And she knew that. She spent a whole lot of time running from her feelings despite how impulsive she did seem to be.]

Yes, losing Penny was hard enough the first time, the second; if she hadn't given me the strength to do so I don't think I could have fought any further. And to lose so much more all because I failed to get there in time, because I didn't stop her the first time.

I'm not sure that they knew, that Weiss knew. I might have told her, but I never truly expressed it, I didn't up with her as often as I should have. I didn't call or check-in enough.

It was hard... I didn't see the second time but. Well I found in the dream when Jaune showed up briefly. I- After all we did I can't believe it happened to her again.

I'm just... I'm glad at the very least she can live on through you.

[She pauses briefly and thinks carefully on her next words.]

I don't know about that. You should have seen the look on her face when she got the call from you before we confronted Ironwood. She was thrilled that you had decided to help us.

I think she knew that you showed it in your own way.

No, all of Weiss' growth and everything that she has achieved since leaving home has been because of you and your team. The four of you have come so much more and she could rely on the rest of you far more than she could have our family or even me. I worried, a lot, but through everything, she has managed to come through better and stronger, because of you.

I think. . . I think that's why I wanted Penny to go with you as well. So that she could be something more, something better than just another soldier for Ironwood.
