Why hello there!

[Snow White is in her kitchen, which is really pretty standard. This time, however, she's not surrounded by food that is being jarred, pickled, or dried. Her army of animal friends is around her, per the norm. The more observant will notice that Snow has on an apron and has several stray bits of dough and mixing bowls around her.]


Several friends of mine have asked, and I thought, well, why not offer it to everyone!

I would like to offer baking and cooking lessons to everyone who might want them, oh not these friends mind you [Snow gestures to her animals.] they already know how to cook! [Because of course they do]! I can teach you the very basics, or if you'd like, much more advanced lessons as far as I'm able to!

I think everyone should be able to cook. I can teach you how to cook outdoors as well! It's very easy to start a fire once you know the steps.

The only ingredients we won't use are apples, but if there's anything else you've always wanted to learn, I'd be happy to try and help you!

[A songbird tweets something and she turns to look at them.] Hmm? Price? I haven't thought of one, I'm sure we can figure something out. [In that, it will be very likely Snow will ask for nothing in return because she does that.]

I don't think there are any dwarfs here, though!

It's a little statistically weird, how most of us are humans, don't you think?

Aren't we all squids now, in any case?

But also, how many people are openly saying they aren't human. If you were a witch or demon or fae-folk back home, you ran the risk of being burned at the stake! Maybe there are many who still have those fears and haven't said what they are.

I've usually found it to be alright. Though the times when it isn't are...memorable.

Oh yes, all sorts of creatures: trolls, fairies, dwarfs, dragons, giants, elves, witches, demons, wizards, goblins, lindworms, ghosts of course, and nachzehrer to name just a few.

What were your demons like? [...] Also, what is a nachzehrer?

Mnn, well, I never met one personally! But I hear they can be quite vicious, prone to making trouble or making deals, one way or the other. They can change how they look, they tended to cause illness and mischief wherever they could. They're not too different from Drude, to be honest.

Nachzehrers are created in three ways. Either when someone... well, if someone killed themselves, they died suddenly and horrifically from disease, or from a sudden and terrible accident. Upon waking from the grave, they seek out their family members to consume them, they also eat their own body and the bodies of other corpses. It's nearly impossible to kill them. You need to put a gold coin in its mouth to stop it from eating, and then behead it in one swing.

I never met nachzehrers either.

Thankfully I never saw the nachtkrapp as a child either.

What's a nachtkrapp, then?

A nachtkrapp is a giant raven-like bird creature that hunts at night. If it spotted a child while on the hunt, it would swoop down, abduct them, and eat them back in their nest, picking them apart with its beak limb-by-limb and then it pecks out the child's heart and consumes it.

........I really did not realize you came from a hell world to begin with. Guess it does explain some things.

[Modern horror stories got NOTHING on old Germanic folklore.]

Oh, goodness, it's not hell at all! There are plenty of good things too!

[That said... YEAH, she is... unphased by... A LOT cause of her upbringing.]

...I mean, there's good stuff here, too. I guess there are most places outside of literal Hell. And I mean, even there was...

[Well, not good. But that was hardly down to the place itself - he had a really good corner of it, for a little while.]

I should mention that I'm actually a demon myself.

You did mention that, still, it's wonderful to meet you! You seem like a very nice demon. Are all demons nice where you come from?

Oh, no, absolutely not. I mean, I guess it's always sort of an individual choice, but - no, not really. Our society doesn't really encourage that kind of thing.

Oh, what a shame! But I'm so glad you chose to be nice!

Oh yes, I always try to remember that I'm the one who can put sunshine into the world, so I try to be as kind as I can to everyone. [Growing up knowing NO kindness, Snow White never wants someone else to experience that.]

That's a nice philosophy.

[Michael never really knew kindness for most of his life, either, though it took him rather a lot longer to come to the same conclusion.]

It helped me get through some very hard times.
