[he clears his throat like he's glad that's over with, onto what he apparently really wants to talk about. the video pans down to a pale finger tapping his notebook, one page blurred and off the the side with what looks like confused formulas trying to figure out how the hell an omni works in his frame of knowledge, the others with notes on the bloodhounds.

one noticeable feature to people without paleblood is he keeps drawing/referencing mushrooms on the beasts, which clearly aren't there.] I've been curious about this fungal growth, especially as I've noticed it on more than just the eh... stag dogs.

The dogs have them, as do some people, though none seem to be causing any distress. There are masses of them spouting in most areas, though I cannot say how normal that is in this place. Some are even familiar, which I cannot say I was expecting.

know far too much about the mushrooms. I had them growing ON me, growing on my skin, buried into my muscles. and ever since i can't stop seeing mushrooms everywhere, even on my food. i HATE mushrooms, this place only made me hate them more.

but that zoom and focus on viktor's notes makes jinx squint and pause. she's spent long enough scrutinizing the handwriting from that hextech research journal to register the familiarity. the name viktor is also pretty sus, but what are the odds anyway? ]

If by 'a thing' you mean understandable concern that vast quantities of it have been growing out of places they should not. Living people, for example.

I haven't heard anyone else mention them either, but I've also seen them in a lot of places! I was starting to wonder if it was just normal, and that that is why no one was talking about it..

Yes, in fact- [he turns his camera to the blood hounds nearby and their impressive antlers, which are covered in fungi in his perspective. the video wobbles a bit as he stands, the scrape of his crutch so he can move to show areas nearby that mushrooms are clustering on the walls.

Along the antlers especially. I have been told they are hallucinations for the 'palebloods' this month, though I do not understand what exactly that means just yet.

I think I can help you explain that 'paleblood' thing too.. Even though it might sound a little strange, so please bear with me. [ Maybe it's a bit of an overly polite way of starting off this explanation, but Chizuru can't help it. She remembers how odd it sounded to her, after all, and she doesn't want to make this new person uncomfortable right off the bat. ] But when we arrive in this place, it seems that our blood changes. For some people it might still look the same, but end up looking different under different circumstances, or for some people it looks strange right off the bat.. But it seems like there's several types of blood that you can get after showing up here, and paleblood is one of those types.

Have you been given any information on the "blood types" around here, because I can assure you they are quite different from what you might think given the term.

I know very little, I admit. Palebloods apparently are prone to visions and some form of empathy, each type suffers differently as the months go on. I do not know anything of the other types aside from hearing some names in passing. Are you also a paleblood?

I am, yes.

Admittedly, I am no expert on the other blood types, but it seems as though there are only five types us Sleepers can be. I do know the denizens can be quite cruel to vilebloods in particular, but it's all nonsense as far as I'm concerned. Blood type has no baring on anything besides what powers we seem to have, as far as I can tell.

Well, that any whatever the month decides to throw our way in terms of unpleasant affect.
