How do you throw a great human birthday party? Not just the stuff with cake, gifts and people, I'm already know about all of that basic stuff. The extra things that make it a really good party. The kind that creates important memories that you can look back on and feel those pleasant feelings again.

[For some reason, this matters, apparently.]

Anyway, the first of the month was Paul's birthday. [No need to elaborate on that one. If you know, you know.] So we're going to do something next month, on the first, instead. It's a surprise, so don't tell him. You know he'd say something like "that's not necessary, it's just my birthday and it will interrupt me sitting in the dark and contemplating my terrible purpose so I'm busy and also no one can use the shower for the next hour".

So it's up to me and the rest of you to make it a good one that he likes. If you're Paul's friend or lived at the beach camp, gimme ideas and then show up and bring a gift. He needs something to strain rice with so he stops using his hands.

I mean, well, maybe. If people are into that. They should probably do it in a spare room or something.
I mean just like cutting loose a little.
Eating weird food on a dare, drinking a bunch of stupid gross shit because that's what's there and you wanna have fun with it.
Piercing ears, face paint, idk. Those last two are kind of "kid's sleepover" party ideas but if I ever got invited to one of those, that's probably what I would've liked doing.
Just make it a safe place to have dumb, weird fun.

Or in Paul's case, a safe place to strain rice with his fucking hands like an animal.

Gideon could do face paint. ...But do humans really drink gross things because someone dared them to? How are they all still alive doing things like that?

The human body is resilient as hell, dude.
Our throats can handle a lot.
Don't take that out of context.
But yeah, that's part of what makes parties fun. Being able to go back and be like "I can't believe you drank everything from the king's cup" or "dude, do you even remember what kind of stuff went into that jungle juice, Steve totally cracked like four raw eggs into it" or something like that.

I don't think the kids drink jungle juice anymore, but that's probably not the point.
Point is that we're all very stupid creatures who love doing stupid shit in groups.

And that's exactly it. I think Paul needs to be a little more stupid. It's part of being human and sometimes it seems like fun. So I want jungle juice and... a cup of kings all there for him.

Haven't played that in a LONG time, but it'll be fun.

We get him wasted on something like that, your stuff is gonna end up covered in SOMETHING that came from inside him by the end of the night.
