last time the sun didn't come up it it came with everyone's running water all turning to blood and nobody could sleep while monsters were prowling around anywhere you could get food and attacking your place if you ran out of incense
just because it's quiet now doesn't mean it's gonna stay that way

I already heard about the incense and planned to store up food that keeps, but what did you all even do about water last time? How long did you have to stay inside?

I'm gonna try to see if I can find bottles of water or some kind of canteens or something, as long as that doesn't turn into blood too. I'm out right now.

Anything else you think we need? I found a bunch of shiny rocks and I know people like those so we may be in luck and this may be a rare chance to capitalize before things go sideways.

we'd just have to fight monsters on the way
the whole mess lasted about a month
in trench those canteens from the welcome bag are enchanted to clean any water put in them i think
but it's probably safer to have extra stocked up just in case

Well, that's something. Between the omens and the omnis, the lines of communication will stay up, right? So if anybody does end up needing to make a supply run halfway through, a well-armed group could at least meet up to go together...

hard to say really
we've had network malfunctions before, here and in deerington
but it seems like the omens are part of our souls, so if all else fails, we could just physically have them travel to other people to send them our messages
even so
making plans for groups like that is best done now before a real crisis emerges

Yeah. Well, count me in then, if making these groups is part of what you're doing here. The name's Alvin, i'm over in crenshaw with pierrot. I'm not too experienced with trench's brand of beasties yet, but i'm used to fighting monsters back home. I can help out if i know we can count on some assistance in return.

As for my world, yeah, for a big part of it, every location had what they called a "spirit clime," where there'd be just one kind of weather all the time. I lived for a while in a city famous for its night clime. It took some getting used to, but people made it work somehow.

i knew a city that had tech to keep the temperature stabilized and such cause it was out in the tundra, but they never messed with day and night cycles
