last time the sun didn't come up it it came with everyone's running water all turning to blood and nobody could sleep while monsters were prowling around anywhere you could get food and attacking your place if you ran out of incense

I always hear about incense being useful. As good a time as any to stock up on it.

And yeah, I can summon mine at least. I also got a strange sword last month, but I haven't gotten around to using it for much. Might as well put it somewhere the others know about.

If not the patrons, is it the moon cycles? I wonder if we can find records for the last few years in this place.

Yeah, from what I've gathered from looking at it and testing it on some wood, I don't think it's a very normal sword. But I think every enchanted item can have two uses if you're creative.

Perhaps rather than wait, I ought to be looking into next month's patron?

you can probably use it like a normal sword but i'd be more concerned about it doing something to you in the process
sometimes the stuff that shows up randomly is cursed
