[Well it had been a lot of hard work but she finally managed to get this thing working even in her arms were basically pinned to the wall, so people were not getting much of a view. Minako didn't even know if she had it on voice or video or what really? But hey she was going to speak and see what happens.]
Hey so... There has been a bit of a situation and I may need a tiny bit of help.
[Considering the only view people are going to see was a brief glace at Minako and the fact she was pinned with something and unable to move too much and when t turns whatever was in front of her.]
So Vira kinda... killed those... giant creatures and this happened.
[Okay maybe that was not the best way to explain her situation. But as she moves to try and get out Vira in her beast form may be seen.]
So I need help getting out and also to knock sense back into Vira and hopefully get her back to normal. She won't hurt me, so please don't worry about that. I think she'd most likely try and hurt people trying to get me, but still... Help is very much needed.

There was a twitch and the lips receded again, the creature trying to clearly think its way through something. It was looking at its hands, flexing its fingers, before it pointed. Across the way, on the kitchen table, was a mason jar of something. It looked like glowing pink water, the light from the lunar orb filtering down on it.

Luz was trying to think of a plan when she saw that Vira seemed to be urging her toward a jar. She walked over to the jar and observed the pink water, watching it for a moment before gazing back up and corrupted Vira.
"Do you need this jar? Are you going to drink the water?"

Vira-Lorr glared balefully, seeming to think about what was being said. Luz was offering to get it. It was her property. That meant it was safe. These were things she could focus on. After a moment, the creature nodded its head, just once. If she would bring the jar over, it would drink. Maybe its head would clear a little, be able to think through this fog of confusion.

But she did have nightmares about it.
That being the case, Luz reached over and carefully nabbed the mason jar, slowly taking it over to the creature and taking the top off. Now Luz was getting dangerously close to Vira Lorr's beast, edging closer and closer.
"All right. Take it slowly."
She hoped Vira understood.

The clawed hand looked ready to strike, but instead it managed to coldly reach out, clutching the jar and setting it down. Watching a xenomorph's second mouth shooting out into a mason jar to drink strange pink liquid was probably one of the stranger visuals that would haunt Vira-Lorr's dreams, but it happened all the same. After the first gulp, the only obvious change was that the tail's motion seemed to look almost more cat-like, waving back and forth lazily instead of angrily.

In these moments, Luz wondered if there was ever not a moment of malice in their repayment and their choices.
But there was no point in thinking about that, not when her friends needed her help. She couldn't help but try and move Vira out of this state, to face the reality that Vira was, in her corrupted stare, a being that most would have run screaming from. This was a strange fate, but Luz knew there was nothing in Trench that guaranteed a coherent explanation.
So she watched her drink, and offered her a quiet thought.
Minkao will be waiting for you after this. I know you wanted to protect her. You care so much, Vira. You might not see that you're becoming oppressive, but that can happen to anyone. Just remember: your girl, she cares so much about you, and you'll hopefully see her soon.
CW Body Horror/Transformation for the next two or three tags
She got about halfway into it when her clawed hand started to shake and moved to press to the floor. there was a twisted, crackling sound. Her tail dropped, crackling and turning to nothing but black powder behind her, vile black powder. The talons broke off and she was panting, twisting as parts of her started to shift. It was visibly disturbing and she seemed to be waiting so as not to spill the rest of the fluid.

So how could Luz look away?
She swallowed and moved closer, trying to offer Vira support even as her skin still felt cold at seeing this painful looking transition happening to Vira.

As she started to drink more quickly, the transformation was happening faster and, while she seemed distressed? She didn't seem in pain. The lake's water helped with that. But... uh... maybe run and grab her something to put on before she was finished. That seemed like a good idea, because her arms were very pale.

Oh. OH. Luz was already quickly looking around, red in the face but determined not to feel like she was abandoning her friend. Luckily she didn't have to go far: she spotted a robe and made a grab for it before coming back to Vira and wrapping it around her.

"Luz... I... need to rest a moment. Please, check to make sure Minako's alright, would you? I think she is, but I don't have a lot of strength right now."
(OOC: That part can be handwaved easily enough since 3-person threads can be difficult to keep up for everyone. Feel free to jump forward a little if you like.)

With that, Luz immediately left to find Minako and make sure she knew she could be free and move around again.

Once some time had past, Luz had turned back to find Vira Lorr. She was sure her friend was suffering a bit and would need some assistance, and then she'd have to fill her in.
"Vira?"
no subject
"I ... didn't hurt you, did I Luz? She's alright, right? Please tell me you're both ok..."
no subject
"We're both fine, Vira. It's you that we need to worry about. You look so tired and weakened, like I was when I was corrupted. Let me help you to get some rest. Once Minako's up to it, I'll leave you to her care. Just take things slow."

She let go of Vira so she could sink into the couch.
"Trust me, been there! It's going to take a while to recover. But I'll try and clean up for you before I go, and then Minako can look in on you, ok?"

Luz scoffed. "And I'll do more, so don't worry about it. If it bothers you, just say that I'm paying you back the favor you did for ME."
no subject
Because that kind of weird backwards punishment did feel oddly appropriate, especially since nobody was dead.
no subject
Which meant that there was a certain degree of monster one could and could not be.
Now Luz was just going to give you a stare. "Vira, this is because I want to help you. You've been through enough today, I'm not having you clean up after something you couldn't help! Just wrap yourself in a blanket and recover with your girlfriend, ok?"
no subject
She smiled over at her friend mildly, or as mildly as she could manage and nodded. "I know... I know... old habits die hard, Luz. Thank you... for everything," she said as she bundled herself more tightly.
no subject
In other words, both of them could be pretty dangerous without something to protect.
"Trust me Vira, I understand. You don't have thank me. I love both of you guys."
Luz was already sweeping and humming to herself, because that had been a pretty jarring situation and she sure was glad it was over!

She smiled at her, the blanket curling tight as she finally started to relax. Things weren't good, but they were safe now, and that was what mattered.

Also it was because Luz was not one to try an adult usually, but still.
"Do you need some tea, Vira?"
no subject
"Tea... would be nice. Salt water is usually not good for making you less thirsty."
