This may be an impossible question, what determines which day is a person's Blessed Day? I would very much like to know.

Also, I was hoping that someone more experienced could tutor me in the use of my Paleblood abilities. As many tutors I can get would be wonderful. The last thing I want to do is invade the privacy of someone's mind or dreams. And is it true that we can cause hallucinations? If so, that's something I absolutely want in control.

The first part, based on watching the network and Archive research: No one knows exactly. It often corresponds to a significant day for a person, and someone's birthday is probably the most common significant day.

But like, a some of us Sleepers don't even come from places with even close to the same calendar. So who can tell.

The second part: I'm a palebood. I'm pretty good with the empathy and telepathy stuff, because that's part of my native ability set, but dream walking is new, and I've only done it by accident so far.

I know I'm not the only one who came here with those sorts of abilities. Strictly speaking, I'm still a student not approved by teachers from the traditions I've learned under, to teach others. [But then, his first master hadn't been formally Knighted then he took Ezra on, either.

Uh. To be clear, I have taught some things, but like....basic meditation. Things pretty much anyone can do, they just help with the getting control of the abilities themselves.

I think a lot of people have it on their birthdays. I don't though, and to be honest I didn't really think much about it since it happened like, right after I arrived here.

I suppose I did. It would have been far more useful as a lamp during last month's exploits, though I'll take whatever source of light I can get at this rate. To think, the month is only halfway through! And there's no guarantee that we'll get normal days and nights back at the end, perhaps next month will be endless daylight.

While it seems to be a unique experience to this world, I find the concept of blood type not much different than the concept of chakra in my home world. In a rudimentary explanation, chakra is an energy that flows through the body offering the human who posses it a variety of abilities. Everybody in my world has chakra, and my guess is everyone here as well.

I bring up chakra because I've been finding that chakra control and blood type control are basically the same thing. It's all about figuring out how to properly draw it from the body and use it in a way that does not overwhelm you or others. Paleblood is a resource that flows within you, but it's about practicing with that resource and getting to know its unique properties.

If you want to learn to control a paleblood's abilities, you'll want to test them out, then practice with them, get to know them, and then you'll be in control of when you use them.

But how will I get to know them without practice? Namely, practice with a person of similar abilities, so that I'll know and they'll know what to block and what to allow? I feel as though I'm flying blind and as the hymn goes, God save those on the eagle's flight. But I'm not going to wait for God to save me, I'll do it myself.

If you wish to stay out of someone's mind, the best way I can think of to do so is picture an infinite wall made of a solid material in your own mind. It goes up until you can no longer see it and stretches out to the left and right until it disappears into the distance. If you have enough strength of will, it can help keep your presence from bleeding over into someone else's head.
