content warnings: discussion of menstruation and puberty, baus-related beast transformation, complex yet flippant feelings about dead mom stuff
[ Alice's body has been up to some distressing changes. She's under the impression that every single one of them are normal things that happen to a young maiden of a certain age, which is not entirely correct. She has questions, and absolutely does not trust any of the people she lives with to give her a correct answer. Hence, the decision to ask absolutely everyone in Trench at once, because shame is something that happens to other people. ]
I have that disease where you feel like crap and then blood clumps come out of your downstairs bits. How do you stop feeling so crap? This keeps happening every month and I'm fed up with it. My stomach hurts and I don't want to eat all the stuff I usually want to eat. Some of you old people have to know what to do about this, right??
I keep itching and growing hair in new places, too, when is that over with?
And you can't make fun of me for not knowing anything because I don't have a mom because she is dead, and also I will kick your butt if you make fun of me.
[ Yeah, that's a good way to ask for help. She has to be aggressive!! Otherwise people won't take her seriously!! ]

'S warm.

[Because who would think to make tea cold?]
I just hope that it helps, though if it doesn't I'm not sure what else I can do, but I can keep you company.

I want company. Can you read me something?

[Alice she would just end up reading an occult book to you because that was the only book that she knew where it was.]
I can always try and think of a story though without reading a book.

[ Which may be the ideal, here. ]

Most stories I have are fairy tales I use to get read, so they might not be interesting since they were for kids. [She is now trying to think of a story where there is a lot of food involved.]

[ This philosophy applies to stories as well as the last pudding in the fridge that somebody else was saving. ]

[She tells the story of a childless old couple who are making gingerbread men and one comes to life and runs away. The old couple chase but the little gingerbread man manages to out run them. Said gingerbread man then proceeds to outrun various people such as farmers and even some animals. At least until a cunning fox comes along. The fox managed to catch the gingerbread man and eats him, thus ending the story.]
It's not a happy ending but... the story does have some meaning behind it and it has food which I thought you might like.

Food getting eaten... 's a happy ending. I'd eat him.

Of course you would. I'm sure you would have enjoyed eating them. Now I hope you are able to sleep and dream of all the delicious food.
