[ At first it's just a view of the underside of someone's chin and some chokers, some tufts of white, maybe some pale blue.

There's the sound of fabric shifting. A horse's soft whinny and the clinking of a bridle. ]

Good evening. Ah--

[ The omni was re-adjusted as Helios noted it was at such an awkward angle. He held it further away from himself. On screen was a gentle face determined to smile warmly, but one burdened by thinly-veiled exhaustion. His face was pale and his features a little sunken. If one looked closely, they might notice he was leaning somewhat on the presumably-offscreen horse. ]

My apologies. I've just been briefly acquainted with the situation at hand by a waker, I believe they were called. [ He shakes his head subtly, worried that he mis-named that woman's profession, but he's much too tired to be certain. ]

I think my arrival took more of a toll on me than expected. Are there any particular places anyone can think of to get something light to eat?

[ Food definitely wasn't what he needed, and the process of waking and shifting was exhausting, but that also wasn't what was draining him at all. But where there was food, there were places to rest and review the situation at hand. And as far as Helios knew, the situation was bad. Very bad. But he wasn't one to panic easily. ]

[ He was pinged for a response as he was making his way up the boardwalk. He was looking at the omni and going through it to try and familiarize himself with the goings-on of this place and his resources, but he mostly looked through it, only barely noticing some of the omni's functions that had been described to him.

He was asking himself the exact same things Usagi had been.

He sighed softly, considering the Maenads were still present in Elysion, as they had been before he reincarnated with Endymion and the Shittenou.

Helios's brows perked at the familiar voice, though, soft and helpful. Ah, just the face he needed to see, too. Albeit if Usagi was also here, that was also bad. ]

Your Majesty, yes. At least I believe Pegasus is my Omen, if I understood correctly.

I was told I'm at the boardwalk, but we should meet and speak soon.

[ Another ping, with just a voice that he doesn't recognize, but no matter, he pulls himself from doing his best to mull over the onslaught of information given to him in this dying place.

Exhaustion just fogged his brain right now. Even so, he regarded the ping with a thankful smile. ]

Yes, the Waker explained everything in brief to me, but there is still a lot. I do see the buildings, thank you.

Helios. I am called Blue. And as for long or short... [it's all relative, isn't it?] It may be long, yes. I was among the first...of this generation. To wake here. But not one of those...born from the nightmare that preceded it.

He always had time for others, and smiled after closing his eyes and nodding briefly. ]

That sounds delightful. Eclairs are my favorite, and someone else mentioned the people here are quite kind. Do you have any particular preferences?

Ah, when I first came here it took me weeks to recover. [he was a lucky placenta sleeper. haha. so seeing helios looking a little ragged is something he has empathy for.]

If it is dire enough you need something in the way of a cane or wheelchair I could be of assistance. I have canes to spare, certainly.

[ His omni pinged again; an odd ritual, but he found some comfort in passing the time with company. He had much to do, though. ]

My condolences for the inconvenience that must have caused. I hope you're doing better now? [ A tired smile. ]

Ah, Blue was correct to note the kindness and generosity of others here. I don't presently need it, I believe, but I will remember to ask.

Talk about a soft-looking person.. yet an incredibly tired-looking person at the same time. Ange might have been able to pinpoint him as a new person just from the look on his face, even if this guy hadn't already pretty much announced himself to be one with his words here.

Ange pauses for a moment, but then decides to reply, turning on the feed to do so. ]

Are you sure the only thing you need is some food..?

[ Because, uh.

Helios looks slightly worse than just someone who's mildly hungry.

There's a hint of concern in Ange's voice, but most of it seems to be neatly covered up by her pokerface expression and her relatively flat tone. ]

[ Helios is a very soft boy. He perks up again at the sound of a concerned voice and a thoughtful face. ]

I believe so, at least for now. Some rest afterwards might also be necessary, since many are telling me it's common to be a bit disoriented after arriving here.

The waker gave a brief explanation of where 'here' is, but it's still quite a lot to take in and process, and some of it is still unclear.
