[ At first it's just a view of the underside of someone's chin and some chokers, some tufts of white, maybe some pale blue.
There's the sound of fabric shifting. A horse's soft whinny and the clinking of a bridle. ]
Good evening. Ah--
[ The omni was re-adjusted as Helios noted it was at such an awkward angle. He held it further away from himself. On screen was a gentle face determined to smile warmly, but one burdened by thinly-veiled exhaustion. His face was pale and his features a little sunken. If one looked closely, they might notice he was leaning somewhat on the presumably-offscreen horse. ]
My apologies. I've just been briefly acquainted with the situation at hand by a waker, I believe they were called. [ He shakes his head subtly, worried that he mis-named that woman's profession, but he's much too tired to be certain. ]
I think my arrival took more of a toll on me than expected. Are there any particular places anyone can think of to get something light to eat?
[ Food definitely wasn't what he needed, and the process of waking and shifting was exhausting, but that also wasn't what was draining him at all. But where there was food, there were places to rest and review the situation at hand. And as far as Helios knew, the situation was bad. Very bad. But he wasn't one to panic easily. ]
should i put up a catch-all log or do we swap to actions here? :O
It took him a moment to process her reaction. He didn't oust her as Sailor Moon, and her being Queen Serenity wasn't exactly something that would be kept secret. Was it? Helios couldn't fathom why. The people should already know who their Queen was. But then again, he was also woefully out of touch with the surface world, and he hadn't yet mingled with any civilians outside of their dreams.
But he did coronation them, even if it wasn't a proper ceremony, it was still official until one could be held on the surface..
Helios just sort of blinked back at her like a deer in headlights, but otherwise moved on if she did. ]
Lemons aren't safe to eat here? Odd..but yes, I was suggested a local bakery, so I'll be resting there with Pegasus until you arrive. [ He had asked the waker about being apprehensive about traveling with Pegasus, but he was assured that no one would pay it any mind as all strange manner of beasts were common place as omens. ]
We can just switch to action here!
She lets out a breath, grateful he moved on.]
Lemons aren't safe at the moment, give it to the end of the month. [She offered with complete sincerity.] A local bakery? Ah, yeah, just get me the name and I'll get there in no time!
/o/
[ Let him live. Or. Be dead. He's certain he's dead. But also it feels fundamentally wrong to not call her Your Majesty. He's not aware this isn't their Earth or some form of afterlife related to it, though.
Helios also doesn't know how to dismiss Pegasus without access to Elysion, so, given he didn't want to leave Pegasus alone(nor be alone in this state), he's more or less stuck being a sore thumb whether he likes it or not. At least until he's given more direction or can more thoroughly look through the handbook in the bag he was given. ]
Thank you for informing me-- [ He paused, about to refer to her by her royal title again, but moved along, both in conversation, and further along the boardwalk and into town. ] Luckily, I much prefer chocolate eclairs.
Ah, there's a sweet smell coming from here. [ The omni was held up to show the name of the bakery for Usagi. ] Pegasus will be standing outside waiting to meet you. I'll be inside. [ He knew they couldn't talk there, but it was a good meeting place, at least. When she arrived, he was seated just outside the entrance at a small table for customers. Pegasus stood by the railing near to where Helios sat, perturbed partially that there wasn't much in the way of tasty grazing to be had here, and that Helios wasn't sitting properly at the table as he usually did. He instead had his elbows on the table and fingers steepled, and he was leaning forward on himself with his chin resting just against his fingers.
Helios was trying to appear alert and more aware than he was. To search for that familiar link to Elysion while he waited for Usagi, but it felt more like he was just wading through quicksand. He'd eaten only one eclair, having little appetite despite his exhaustion. ]
no subject
[Usagi teleports to the general area Helios is in using the lamps, looking around for the bakery Helios showed her. She saw Pegasus, well, lots of people saw Pegasus. She came over to him, smiling warmly and gently running a hand along his muzzle.]
Hello Pegasus, it's been a long time, huh? [She pressed a kiss in between his eyes before she made her way inside, looking around for the priest. She brightened up when she saw him.]
Helios!
[She hurried over and hugged him.]
