Hello. Some of you may know me already, but to those who don't — I'm Rose Da Silva. Sharon's mom.

( Her smile warms, and she gently sets her mug down so she can turn her full focus on the video she's making. )

I've been here for... a while. Half a year now. I have to admit, this place isn't like where I come from at all, and I'm still... trying to adjust.

I know a lot of you are from worlds that may be similar to this one. You've probably been able to settle in a lot easier than me. But... I wanted to offer something. Because I know there are a lot of young people here, people... on their own.

( Her smile wavers, brow knitting slightly. A lot of people without parents, without help. And maybe they've been doing quite well on their own; Rose has certainly witnessed almost disconcerting levels of independence from the Sleeper youth. Often, it suggests that... many of them might not have had a strong parental presence back home, either. Several of them have directly told her as much, or she's seen... memories, shared by accident. )

I can't make things, but I can show you how to buy and use them, if you like. Like... well, if anyone might need some more clothes and could use a hand, I'd be very happy to show you the shops I've discovered around here.

( She's.... offering to help take you shopping, yes. This month, there's a growing compulsion to teach, and maybe Rose is....... filled with the need to do some Mom Teaching Things for others! )

There are some really nice shops in certain parts of the city. I'm sure we could find something to fit your personal style.

( Her smile brightens again; she seems excited. Back home, before she was venturing into the depths of Silent Hill to rescue her daughter, she was one fancy suburban mom. Shopping was her thing. And maybe it seems a little silly, considering so many young people around here are... warriors, fighters, have some sort of strong power.... do they really need something as simple as a shopping trip while she's Mom For A Day?

....The offer is there. She wants it to be there, just in case someone does need it. Because maybe she doesn't have a lot of Trench-appropriate skills to put out here, in comparison to others. But being a mother... that's what she wanted to be for her whole life. She's not explicitly framing it that way, but that's what she feels the most comfortable offering, guidance that might fall under the "maternal" or "guardian" category of teaching. )

I'd be happy to treat you to lunch or dinner too, or show you around other places in the city, if you like. The weather's so nice lately.

You probably could've guessed this, but I'd be glad to spend time with you sometime! I get lonely sometimes, too. Maybe I could see if Rika-chan, Ahiru-chan, or Frisk-chan would want to tag along, too. They're sweet kids.

You just didn't seem like the type to be into day-to-day shopping and hanging out and all that.

[They aren't. They're just fiercely protective and suspicious of everyone. And also more than a little clingy.]

[To their credit, they don't immediately say "YOU COULDN'T STOP ME" because it sounds petulant and immature even to them, considering this guy seems to be a good friend of Frisk's and Rika's at least. Still, they've got their eye on you, clown man...]

You're certainly welcome to come, too! I was just telling Kokichi that ice cream might be nice, since it's getting warmer out... Do you like ice cream?

I really hope so. Chocolate's the best.

( Surely one of the sweet shops around here would have some...! Rose would certainly do whatever she could to hunt it down. )

It sounds like it could be a fun little expedition... On the hunt for chocolate ice cream.

It's harder to get here on account of the lack of cows and cocoa beans, but I've found it sometimes. I can try and pre-plot a destination if you don't know of a location that sells chocolate ice cream specifically.

Rika and Frisk haven't had the opportunity to have a large variety of ice cream due to both living in small villages, so I think getting them some choices to taste test would be nice. I'm not sure about Ahiru but I wouldn't be surprised. [They themselves are used to being the mom friend, they haven't figured out that they are being mom'd themselves.]

Oh — that would be very helpful of you; I'd appreciate that very much.

( She wouldn't at all mind hunting on her own, but it'd be nice to involve some of the kids who want to be. It delights her that they're offering, and she'd be glad to take them up on that. )

That's a great idea! We could try to find a bunch of flavours so they could try them out. ...Or maybe even make our own, if we had to.

( Ideas are forming, little things to look forward to. Finding (or making ice cream) and letting the kids sample them... She really, really likes this! )

( Rose brightens at the young man, happy to hear from him again, and at the prospect of him taking up her offer. There's a soft twinge of ache when he admits he gets lonely — she's not surprised to hear it, it's certainly not an unbelievable concept, but it's... sobering. She wants to help him to not feel so lonely, if she can. )

It's very kind of you to think of them. I would love to have all of you, the more the merrier! Maybe we could see what other fun things there might be to do around here, too.

( She'd happily take all of them for a little outing. Trench can be a horrible, dangerous place, but she's seen softer areas, too. Maybe he and his friends could just be kids doing something fun for the day. That'd be... really, really nice. )

It's getting warmer out... maybe we could even find some ice cream around here.

[Kokichi beams.] We'll ask 'em, then! And I'm sure there's a lot! We just have to find the right spots! Luckily, I'm pretty good at that. And the girls are pretty good finders too. They're smart. I know for a fact.

[He misses being able to be a kid, really. In all honesty, he's operated on a half-adult level most of his life. Being a runaway, it's what he's used to.

He tugs his arms to his chest, excited.]

Yes! It could be a nice little adventure. ( Rose is excited for the prospect, for the chance to get out and do some exploring of the city. Carefully, of course — she might try to find a chaperone or two to come with.... As a Warmblood, she's painfully aware of her own limitations in comparison to others here.

...Though most of the kids could probably hold their own against any threats. )

Grape must be your favourite. ( Her smile brightens again; she's making mental notes. Maybe she can do some research ahead of time and make sure she can find a place to get him some grape ice cream. Surely one of the bakeries might...! )

I'm kind of bad... I like turtle fudge. With extra fudge. ( She gives a little wink, like it's a secret. )
